GRANTED DESIRES

the following day, y/n had ask sanzu to meet up with her for a quick moment. she had to warn him what mikey was up to and let her forget about her for good.

" its rare that you offered to see me " the strawberry blond said in a soft tone.

" yeah, i just had some stuff to tell you " he only nodded to her statement, signalling her to continue.

" that night when i said forget about me and move on, i meant it. mikey said he'll kill you if he spots us together." sanzu didn't seem surprised at this. he knew what mikey was like and how he meant it when he said something.

" lets never see each other again one on one " she blurted

" do you love me? " he asked, making it seem like he had just ignored everything she said and popped the question.

" what? "

" do you have feelings for me? " he rephrased. y/n felt like she was put on the spot. she was unsure. she didn't know if what she felt for sanzu was love or pure gratitude for the thing he'd done for her.

" i.. "

" you're so selfish, y/n " she definitely did not anticipate this from him.

" if you love me back then tell him and leave him for me instead of seeing me secretly. but if you don't, why do you care if mikey kills me or not " it has been bottling up in him for awhile now. the way she'd just leave him or push him away when she wanted to and cares for him like she loved him back when she didn't. he had feelings of his own too.

" you're someone important to me of course i wouldn't want mikey to kill you " she bit back, she was only looking out for him.

" gosh y/n if you don't feel the same then stop leading me on and acting as if you do " y/n was beyond speechless.

" thanks for that, i'll be sure forget about you " with that being said sanzu left. deep down, he hated himself for talking to her like that. it pained him. but it seemed like their situationship was getting nowhere. just as sanzu left, tears gathered in her eyes as she thought to herself. was she really being selfish. but least to say she'd manage to drive sanzu away to keep him safe at the cost of sanzu probably hating her for life.

she wondered if that was her fate. first it was the old mikey that she lost, then rindou and now sanzu. in defeat, she returned to bonten' headquarters as there was some work to be done there.

-

once she entered their hideout, it was unusually empty, mikey had ask you to head here yet he was nowhere to be found.

" you're here? " someone else had just entered. by the familiarity of his voice, she turned around. it wasn't mikey nor sanzu. it was rindou. it has been awhile since she was alone with rindou, years actually.

" yeah, mikey needed me here "

" its been awhile hasn't it " he brought up, instantly resulting in the tension to rise up in the room, remembering that they once had a thing before she totally ghosted him.

" yeah... " she could feel the awkwardness in the room.

" all these years when you were gone, have you ever thought of me? " rindou couldn't contain his curiosity. even though all these years had passed, he still held some sort of feelings towards her. he may have multiple woman to hook up with during those times but there were merely used to fill the void when she stopped talking to him one day. to be frank, y/n had never loved rindou in that way, to say the least, she has never once thought of him but she couldn't bring herself to tell rindou that. hence, her silence was the indicator.

" i know everything with you and mikey. yall are not in that stable of a relationship are you " he was right. they weren't, it was toxic. rindou had probably heard it from ran. ever since sanzu fell into his depression state when y/n left, ran got closer to mikey to keep bonten going as mikey couldn't much on sanzu.

" what do you know about us " she scoffed in disbelief. she hated that he had always acted like he knew everything about her.

" i had you first " rindou felt neglected. he was the first one to have met y/n yet he was treated like nothing as she casually hopped around sanzu and mikey and threw him aside.

" like i said we were nothing then and now, don't be so attached can you " she was not in the mood for this. first it was sanzu and now rindou had to stir some shit between them. y/n knew better than anyone to not get attached due to her past. attachment only brings pain to one.

" why can't you see that i was here all along "

" im done here, tell mikey im unwell and is unable to see him here " she decided to leave the venue, not wanting to continue this conversation with rindou any further to prevent her lashing out on him even more. she sighed as she walked out of the building, lighting up a cigarette on the way out. the things she experienced in the past is what changed her. she was unable to properly love someone nor show any kind of love. she also couldn't not accept any kind of love shown towards her. deep down, she was scared. everything she once loved always ends up leaving her so what was the point.

it was too much for her to bear, she had enough of this, constantly pushing the people who cared most for her. she whipped out her cell phone from her pocket and dialled mikey's number. without much wait, he'd picked up her call. she only had one thing to tell him.

" i'm leaving bonten. "
