As you fully entered the classroom, you attempted to push the thought of Kenma to the back of your mind. You wanted to focus on getting to know the other people in your class since you would be stuck with them for a whole year. Carefully surveying the classroom searching for a classmate that you could possibly converse with for the time being.

There were only a few students, the rest of your peers were probably still stuck searching for the classroom. You switched your eyes between the current people that were present at the moment and chose the person that looked the most interesting. That part was easy though.

There was a girl who had chosen a seat that was located in the center of the classroom. She had caught your eye the moment you stepped in the room, but you still wanted to look at the other people here nonetheless. To give them a benefit of doubt.

However you couldn't stop your eyes drifting towards him. In comparison to the other students that were all huddled alone in some corner with a nervous look on their face. She was simply leaning her back against the table, legs crossed as she scrolled absentmindedly on her phone. Clearly, she was unbothered by the nervousness that came with starting high school at a completely different place filled with a bunch of people you have yet to know. You liked that and it gave you some information on what kind of person she was.

She must have been a confident person and had no struggles talking to anybody and everybody. There is no doubt that she probably was aware of that, which explained her laidback behavior. Not to mention the girl was extremely gorgeous as well.

Her hair was perfectly wavy, reminding you of sand mounds on a beach. They reached midway through her rings and the color was like brown sugar. It gave her a soft feminine touch. There wasn't a single hair out of place or a split end in sight. Yet, that wasn't the only thing that made her so attractive. Her eyes were a beautiful and deep color of blue, like the color of lapis.

From head to toe, you could tell she liked to take proper care of herself and appear at her best. Her hair was perfect, her skin had hardly any blemishes, and her nails were clearly recently done. You took notice that all of her belongings were clearly new. She was an owner of the recent iphone that came out just last month, and her jewelry were all clearly from luxury brands. Even her backpack was new.

Originally you were planning to buy some new supplies for the school year but you ended up feeling lazy all weekend. 'Someone went all out with their spending for their start of highschool shopping...'

Though, you had a feeling that you would like her.

Just as you were about to approach her, you felt her eyes on you. She was looking at you now with her phone lowered down onto her lap, and she flashes you a quick smile. Even her smile felt warm and inviting. You quickly made your way to the seat next to her and set down your own stuff. She seemed to copy your movements and settled down into the seat placed next to you.

Leaning again her arm that was on top of the desk, she started the conversation.

"You know, you're really pretty? Especially your eyelashes, oh my gosh. Oh! My name is Furukawa Harumi by the way. Just call me Harumi, kay? I don't care about honorifics. "

She was really full of energy despite it being so early in the morning. Normally you would find it annoying, but you felt it rubbing off on you. It was a nice chance from all the nervous energy that you felt from everyone else. You felt yourself smiling at her liveliness.

"Thank you! You're really pretty yourself, it feels like I'm meeting a model in real life." You complimented her back. "My name is L/N Y/N, nice to meet you."

You and Harumi spent time talking to each, getting to know each other. It was easy talking to her, the conversation flowed smoothly and naturally. Words just kept spilling out of your mouth while you talked to her. She also had a faint floral scent, it was calming to just be in her presence.
