The second half of the day went by as quickly as the first half did. It was the same. Introductions. Reviewing. Possibly glance at Kenma. Repeat. Before you knew it the school day was over and you haven't managed to even speak another word to Kenma besides that odd interaction you had with him during lunch.

Honestly, you weren't sure if it was because you felt too awkward to approach him or was it his unapproachable energy that surrounded him—maybe both.

As the last bell rang, you couldn't help but let out a small disappointing smile. On one hand, you were glad to end the first day of school with a group of new friends, but you were still displeased with your lack of a proper introduction to Kenma. Thinking back to everything that had happened, you subconsciously started packing your bag, lost in your thoughts.

You shook your head and decided to focus on the present and started making your way to the door, stopping to wait for Harumi and the others. The five of you walked together, talking about the teachers that you liked and disliked, the basics of what you expected from your first day of highschool.

You all went your separate ways. Akiro and Issei carpooled together, Kaede used the subway, and Harumi's house was in the opposite direction of yours. After spending hours surrounded by people, you were finally alone.

You felt slightly lonely after constantly being surrounded by people that you actually enjoyed being with and in their presence. But this was your time to finally digest everything that happened at school during your fifteen minute walk home. Maybe stop by the convenience store that was exactly on the way home. You were craving something sweet.

As soon as the neon lights of the sign caught your eyes, you couldn't help but speed up your pace because you were both slightly hungry and just wanted to rot in your bed already.

As you entered the family—owned building, you heard the usual chime of the door. The place was really well taken care of, and it always smelled pristine. You were actually familiar with the employees of this place since you often came down here during the summer. Sometimes with friends or when you wanted a snack while you binged watched your favorite shows or romcoms.

You knew exactly which aisle to go to, as you knew exactly where everything was. It was like muscle memory as you strolled down the aisle, turning immediately at the one you were looking for. Not before sending a short wave and smile to the storekeeper who you got to know as Miyuki. She was a young adult, probably the eldest daughter of the Harada family.

You were quite familiar with all of them, but you were mostly acquainted with Miyuki due to the fact she was younger and a female. She simply returned the gesture before going back to what you assumed was a textbook full of college level algebra, clearly studying or refreshing her mind for university.

You just continued to walk down the aisle, searching for the specific brand of chocolate you were craving deeply for. That's when the white and red colored wrapper finally caught your eyes, and your eyes immediately brightened at the sight of the sweet. 'Hell yeah, kinder buenos.' You were busy grabbing a bunch of the chocolate—mouth salivating—just as the bell of the store went off, signaling that someone else had entered the convenience store.

At first you didn't really care that much, until a familiar reverberating voice echoed into your eyes. You came to a pause, your arm already holding a bunch of kinder buenos' packages. Curiosity took over—despite already having a good idea on who it was—and you carefully walked towards the end of the aisle to take a peek at who just entered the store.

Your eyes immediately fell onto the tall male's rooster hair, and you could feel your facial expressions drop. Kuroo was the last person you wanted to see, as memories of your awkward moment resurfaced into your mind.
