It's hard to be a human, so much to put an answer to

"You guys wanna get dinner?" Ophiuchus says suddenly, eyes still on the road as he drove.

"Yes, please," Taurus says, "I'm feeling peckish."

"Same," Cancer says, and the others mumbled in agreement.

"Pizza Hut, Dominos, McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, or...where'd you guys wanna go?" Ophiuchus asks.

After a quick poll, everyone decided that Burger King was the way to end the night, and so, after about fifteen minutes of lefts and rights, Ophiuchus pulled into a Burger King parking lot.

The eleven signs who were seated in the back of the truck pulled the door open and got out. Ophiuchus was about to do the same when he noticed Scorpio, still sitting in the driver's seat, glaring into the distance. He hadn't said a word all the way here.

"Scorp, you good?" Ophiuchus asks, looking at the mentioned sign.

"Huh?" Scorpio breaks his glare to look at Ophiuchus, and his glare softens, "Yeah, yeah, I'm fine."

"Are you sure? You don't seem fine." Ophiuchus says.

"I'm fine, Oph," Scorpio sighs, "Thanks."

Scorpio opens the door and gets out, closing the door behind him, and turns around to see Aquarius in the distance, seemingly waiting for him. Ophiuchus got out, too.

Ophiuchus stepped away from the vehicle and watched as Scorpio walked over to Aquarius.

"Hey," Aquarius says, lowering her gaze.

Scorpio nods in acknowledgement. They didn't say anything to each other as they walked into the restaurant. All the rest of the signs were sitting at a long table in the corner of the restaurant, a wall of glass on one side, allowing them to see what unfolds outside.

Cancer scoots closer to Libra, making space for her best friend. Aquarius smiles, and she sits next to Cancer. Scorpio sat across from her, and Cancer could tell something was up. Aquarius seemed to have a hard time looking at her boyfriend.

Taurus was sitting beside Scorpio, across from Cancer, and he smiled when she looked at him for a moment. Cancer looked back at Aquarius, "You okay?"

Aquarius smiled, "Yeah, fine."

Cancer nodded, unconvinced, she'll pull Aquarius through later.

Ophiuchus sits at the head of the table, in the middle of Aquarius and Scorpio. The waiter arrived moments later, and all the signs made their orders. The waiter disappeared and all the signs were caught up in smaller conversations between themselves. The waiter reappeared a few moments later and passed the food along the table. Each sign mumbled thank yous to the waiter and then he disappeared again.

The signs all sat and ate in silence this time. The lack of consistent movement of the mouth to speak helped them finish their food quickly.

Ophiuchus cleared his throat, "So, since you guys managed to steal the HOPC, the Mayor has sent invitations for Arthur's birthday party tomorrow."

The signs all looked at each other before smiling, an actual party was just the kind of thing they needed after a major robbery.

"That's great," Sagittarius says, eyes sparkling, as he looks at Gemini who smiles at how adorable he looks.

Aquarius and Cancer looked at each other. Arthur was a friend of both of theirs. The rest of the girls hated him because he was a playboy, but Cancer and Aquarius knew him well enough, gave him the time he required, and he was genuine with them, more often than not.
