The sunlight that dawned in through the windows was what woke Aquarius up, and when she opened her eyes, she just wanted to continue lying on the bed. Her head was throbbing from the alcohol that took over her last night. She was still hungover, but her situation was much, much better now.
She pushed the duvet off her body and sat up on the bed before rubbing her eyes. A sudden sense of realisation hit her when she looked around and realised she wasn't in her bedroom. Panic struck hard.
Feeling the gentle tilt of the mattress beside her, Aquarius looked to her side, and saw a figure, covered by the duvet. The light brown hair of the person was visible from the top.
Another surge of panic filled her as she looked down at her body. She breathed a sigh of relief when she was assured of being clothed.
Feeling the sudden movement, the figure under the duvet shuffled under it, before long fingers emerged from beneath it and pushed the blanket down.
Aquarius visibly relaxed when she saw Leo's face. The brunette opened his eyes, and he saw Aquarius looking down at him. And at that moment, she looked more gorgeous than she usually did. Her dark brown hair was completely undone, and it appeared lighter because of the sunlight hitting her.
The sun had given her a natural halo. Her oaken-hued skin was lit up and her dark brown eyes looked like honey drops.
Leo paused for a moment, taking in her sight.
Aquarius grew even more tensed when she noticed that Leo was shirtless, his bare chest defined further by the sunlight. His green eyes were reflecting the emitted light and Aquarius couldn't look away.
"'Morning." Leo smirked.
"Why am I in your room?" Aquarius asked immediately.
"Because you got very drunk yesterday?" Leo shrugged nonchalantly, pushing the duvet further down, he noticed the look on her face, compelling him to elaborate, "And when we got here, I couldn't find the keys to your room."
"You could've just dropped me off in Cancer's room," Aquarius replied.
"I tried to because I knew you'd say that," Leo replied after sitting up, as though he'd been waiting for Aquarius to pull that up, "But Cancer had locked her room, and she wouldn't open, so I assumed she was probably asleep. She'd gotten about as drunk as you."
"Oh." Aquarius mumbled, and then she eyed Leo questioningly again, "And why are you shirtless?"
"Because it got hot at night?" Leo said, raising an eyebrow.
"Right," Aquarius nodded, suddenly feeling stupid, "Thank you."
"For removing my shirt?" Leo smirked.
"What," Aquarius was fighting an amused reaction, it was obvious and Leo could tell, but he decided not to push her buttons. For now. "No, for getting me here safe."
"Oh," Leo smiled, "Don't worry about that."
"And my keys were with Cancer, in her bag, by the way," Aquarius mentioned.
Leo smirked, realising why Aquarius had been asking so many questions, "You know," He leaned in, "If we'd done it, you'd remember."
Aquarius looked confused for a second before her eyes widened. Leo's smirk grew, "It wouldn't have mattered how drunk you were, you'd remember still."
Aquarius had a fire ignited in her cheeks, and Leo kept adding wood to it.
She suddenly felt the need to challenge Leo, "Is that so-?"
