Leo's eyes landed on a door that led to the balcony, and through the light curtains, the moon helped silhouette Aquarius's figure.

Leo walked over and pulled the door open, quietly so he didn't startle Aquarius. She was facing the other way, her hands resting on the railing.

"Aquarius?"

Leo watched as Aquarius's hand reached for her face before she turned around, face emotionless and eyes red, "Leo?"

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah...fine." She said, but Leo could hear the cry suppressed at the back of her throat.

"No, you're not." He stepped closer to her, walking towards the railing.

"I'm fine, Leo," Aquarius says, watching as he stops by the railing and faces her, and it took everything in her willpower not to break down then and there. She could feel the tears stinging her bottom lid, and the sob was rising to her throat.

"Aquarius..." Leo paused, analyzing her features, "What happened?"

And with that, a tear slipped down her face and in a moment of absolute vulnerability, and in a futile attempt to prevent mortification, she reached out for him and wrapped her arms around him.

Leo was surprised, watching as she held onto him lightly, crying into his chest. He was bewildered, but nonetheless, he wrapped his arm around her and held her in place, patiently waiting for her to calm down.

"Hey...it's okay." He whispered, running his hand down her hair.

She pulled away after a long moment, her eyes puffed up and red, and the tip of her nose and cheeks were a shade of pink, too. She looked at his black shirt, which now had her tears on it, it wasn't visible, but she could tell that it was wet, "I'm sorry...about your shirt."

"Shh," Leo whispers, wiping her tears away, "Don't worry about that. Now, tell me what happened."

Aquarius looked at him for a moment, taking a deep breath before she spoke, "I...I saw Scorpio...with someone else," She was too ashamed to explain further, but Leo seemed to understand.

Leo's eyes widened before he sighed and looked at the moon, "Wasn't he drunk?"

Aquarius looks at him, sighing, "Yes, Leo, he was. But no matter how drunk you are, do you ever look at a blonde and think she's a brunette?"

Leo's eyes then went back and met hers, and he could see a pain in them that he'd never seen before, "I'm sorry."

Aquarius nodded, gently sniffling. She'd never seen Leo like this, he was always so stoic and his gaze was relentless. But for this one moment, he was soft, and it felt nice.

"We should get back, they must be waiting for us." Aquarius said, her eyes on the moon before they landed on Leo, "And, thank you...for coming for me."

Leo simply nodded before the two left the balcony and headed down the stairs. The party had come to an end, all the dancers were tired and all around the room. Gemini and Sagittarius were sitting down at a table and talking.

Cancer and Taurus were by the bar and Aquarius could see the happiness on both of their faces, however, she couldn't decipher the glare Libra passed them. Aquarius's eyes travelled across the room again, before they landed on Scorpio, and he was looking right at her, a glint of remorse flashed in his eyes.

She looked away and at Leo, who was leading her down the stairs.

"Ah, finally," Ophiuchus says, when he spots the duo, "You guys were gone long."

Aquarius was too tired to speak, and so Leo voiced for her instead, "We were just upstairs."

"Let's get going then?" Ophiuchus eyes all his team members, and they nod before reluctantly getting up and moving out of the mansion.
