Classroom of the elite: New life

Chapter 6: Preparation

It has been about a week since Chabashira revealed what the school was hiding from us and in that time the class had come together as a group to improve on their behaviour and started to listen during the lesson in fear that they would be punished.

Chabashira had also announced that the midterm exams will start in 3 weeks and that anyone who failed any subject would be expelled from the school. Everyone was pretty shook after hearing this as they had never took the school seriously since the beginning, people like Hirata and Kushida had quickly took control of the situation as they planned on making a system where some of the smartest students would tutor people who were more academically challenged with study sessions that would be held everyday after school and on the weekend at the library with the exception of Sunday that would act as a rest day.

The tutors consisted of three people, them being Hirata, Kushida and surprisingly Horikita. After the tutors were established everyone began to prepare themselves for the next few weeks.

Horikita: Did you make them accept yet? 

Whilst l was laying on my bed i had gotten a message from Horikita asking if i had convinced Ike, Yamauchi and Sudo to join her study group. Originally the three had refused her offer as they didn't like how rude she was acting towards them so she pushed the job onto me.

Ayanokoji: Not yet but i'm almost there. i replied to her a few minutes later, she read my message but didn't respond back. 

In reality i was no where near close to convincing them since when i asked them myself they had gave the same answer to me as they did Horikita. 

If i was going to do this then i was going to need external help. I went through my phone until i saw the number i needed and dialed it. 

The phone rung for about 20 seconds until they finally picked up.

"Sorry for not picking up sooner, i was just getting out the shower." A sweet voice said from beyond the phone.

"It's fine don't worry about it, look i can't talk for long so i'm gonna get straight to the point. I need your help." I heard the hairdryer in the background turn off. 

"What do you need Ayanokoji?" She asked with a concerned voice.

"Ike, Sudo and Yamauchi are yet to join a study group yet and Horikita wants to try and recruit them but they refused her when she asked them directly. If they don't join her study group then they may get expelled." I told her the problem and she quickly agreed to help me.

"Don't worry Ayanokoji I'll help you, the thought of us having to say goodbye if any of them gets expelled is too cruel so you can count on me."

"Great, message me if you were successful after you talk to them."

"Okay, I'll tell you as soon as i'm done."

With that the phone call ended and i placed my phone on my desk and grabbed something to eat. When i returned from the Kitchen i saw that Kushida had already messaged me.

Kushida: They all agreed to go to the study session. 

She done it that fast? 

Now that the three of them have agreed i messaged Horikita about my success.

Ayanokoji: I managed to convince the three of them to join the study group.

a few minutes went by and Horikita replied.

Horikita: Good, the first session will be tomorrow.

I closed my phone and decided to leave my room to go for a walk. The sun was starting to set which left a gentle golden glow in the horizon. I didn't have a specific destination in mind and i found myself just roaming around taking in the scenery around me.
