Chapter 12 When Love Runs Red

I brought Eve inside after she fell asleep. I let her sleep in my arms tonight. I watched as her eyes seemed to open and glow softly in the moonlight. I layed her in the bunk and fell asleep next to her.

A/N:
This is kinda a gory and graphic part, plz don't read this of you can't handle blood and gore, graphic images/scenes, or sensitive stuff. I say again PLZ DONT READ IF YOU ARE SENSITIVE TO BLOOD AN GORE!!!! You have been warned.....

The Next Morning...

I woke up only to feel nothing by my side. I heard a scream and a "help me". I shot up and looked around. I didn't see Eve... or anyone. I raced over to the kitchen area. I saw Ash and Andy knocked out. Jake laying there with a slash on his side. Jinxx was out cold like Andy and Ash. I looked out the window and tried to go outside. I felt a wet hand grab my ankle. I looked down and saw Jake's bloody hand on my ankle.

"Please, don't go. You won't be able to save her. Its no use to try..."

"Yes, yes it is use. I'm going to try and save her. I'm the one she needs most. Also, I need her too..."

I reached for Jake's hand and got him up, and set him on the couch.

"I be back, call me if you need anything."

"Will do..." Jake answered.

I raced out the tour bus door and got in my car. I followed the car that I saw Eve taken into. I followed until I got to an entrance. I got out, locked my car, and headed in.

"Hey, whos that?" A voice boomed in the metal building I was in.

"I don't know, let's find out." Another voice called to the other.

I heard footsteps come towards me. I looked over and saw two men chasing after me. I ran. I was running till I got to a cage. I slammed into it, hit my head, and fell to the ground. Grunting in pain, a man grabbed my arm and dragged me to another cage, threw me in, and questioned me.

"Who are you and whats your status?" One of them asked.

"I'm Christian and im not sure what you mean by status..."

"Ugh, I mean by what your status is are you in a relationship or not?" The other replied.

"Yes, I am." I replied.

"Good, I need someone like you." One man answered.

I gasped as they got out a gun. I sat there silently. I turned around and saw a starved body. I rolled it over. It was Eve. She had been starved. Why? Why Eve? I looked at her face, her bloody, bloody face. I saw her arms, bloody and whipped with leather. Her back was cut up. I looked at mer mouth. Her snake bites show signs of being ripped off her lip. Her mouth and nose show signs of bleeding. I looked over at the men again. I stared at them in fear. I saw a door open silently. Four men came in. It was the boys. I cheered inside, still having a fearful facial expression.

"Where is my crop and blade at? I need it for this new prisoner."

Prisoner? Really? I looked as a man gave the other his crop and blade as he so called it.

"So... ya ready to be beated like your friends? Or not?" He asked me.

"I'm ready to do whatever it takes to save my friends and I."

"You are, are you? Well, we'll see about that..." he grinned as he yanked me uo by my shirt and put the blade against my neck. Eve yanked me down and took a hit. She launched herself up and took another, and another, amd another. Until she couldn't lift herself anymore. Then she tried to pull the man down by yanking on his arm. Crack. A gun shot. Eve went down with a bloody side and arm. I was furious. I got up and slapped the man, punched him, and grabbed the blade and grazed it against his face.

"Incoming!!!!" I heard a yell.

It was Ashley. He swooped in and landed. He ran over and asked:

"Is she ok?"

"No, Eve was shot by a gun. She also really beaten up. I think she's gone..."

Ash patted my back and jogged over to Eve, knelt down, and tried to look for signs of her living. Ash got up and went to the other side of her. His hands, his hands were covered with blood. Jake ran over and looked with Ash. He barely touched her and his hands got bloody too. Jinxx managed to find a first aid kit. He ran over and opened it. Jinxx got out hydrogen peroxide, gause, and medical tape. He wrapped her arms and legs. Ash looked up at me. His face showed confusion. More like mixed reactions. Jake also did the same, then he looked down in shamefulness. He felt bad, I knew he did. I raced over and held Eve. Her lifeless, bloody, starved body. I felt no breathing or a heartbeat.
I frantically looked again for signs.

"She's gone Chris.... she's gone..." Ash said with a few tears.

"She's not coming back...." Jake said with a tear rolling down his face.

"No... she will come back... I know she will..." I said

I tried to do what I knew would help her. Nothing worked.

"Give me the first aid..." I said to Jinxx.

He gave it to me. I got out a defribulator. I put it on her, and tried to shock her heart back. It didn't work. I took it off and sighed. I looked back at the kit. Nothing, nothing I could use.

"CPR, that's it... I'll try that..." I thought.

Out of reflex to what I was thinking, I tried CPR. It barely worked. I felt a faint heartbeat. I felt slight breathing.

"Call..." I said.

"Huh?" Ash responded.

"Call 9-1-1... she needs it..."

Imediately, Ash pulled out his phone and made the call. A siren went off. The next thing I knew was Eve was put on a streatcher and put I to an ambulance. I hopped in with her. The ambulance drove off, Jake, Jinxx, Andy, and Ash followed.
