Iekami walks down the grey-blue hallways of UA- seemingly endless- with a group of his classmates. He doesn't pay attention to their talk and merely follows them, more interested in looking around.

It's strange; his vision is impeccable, better than the average 20/20, yet his surroundings are blurry and hazy as if enveloped in a white mist.

This isn't right.

He stops staring down the hallway and looks over to the group near him, an involuntary action. He blinks, and his mind takes a moment to register them. It's Kirishima and- wait, register? No no, they weren't there before. His mind made it up. He realises- he knows that they weren't there before. That group is just a vague bunch of shapes masquerading and pretending to be people.

"What are you doing all the way over there?"

A sudden red amongst the dull scenery catches Iekami's eye. He glances to his right, down the hallway. In the white mist, stands a beige-toned boy, his dull messy red hair all too familiar. That smile... is unlike him. It's soft and-... and empty, not the wide ear-to-ear that Iekami was so used to seeing on that face. Unnatural, is what it is. The fog in Iekami's mind begins to clear, and he becomes panicked.

"Dai?" The dark-haired boy can't see the only other existing thing clearly anymore. "What are you doing?"

Tomi isn't supposed to be here.

Dai jolts awake. He gulps, his throat momentarily quenched of its dryness. The hum of the AC joins alongside the sound of his thumping heart. His room is as cold as a freezer and his body is as hot as lava. Not normal. Nothing is normal. When has his life ever even been normal?

"No time for that," He says to himself, sitting up. "A dream. Just a dream. Calm down, Dai."

Tomi. Dai grimaces, wiping the sweat off of his forehead. He sits up, the blanket falling off of him, exposing his torso. He gets out of bed, taking support from the headrest. He wobbles somewhat but manages to make it to the kitchen.

He sits on the counter, sipping a glass of water, and eating straight from the tub of vanilla ice cream he bought four days ago, half of it now finished.

"You're fine. Everything is just fine," Dai said, his voice betraying the strain behind his words. "There's absolutely no international criminal organisation after you, with half of them wanting you for themselves and the other half wanting you dead. Not to mention your family and friends, too."

Dai took another spoonful, I should stop. One more scoop, but I don't want to.

He checks the time by glancing into the living room at the clock beyond the kitchen island. 5:15-ish AM... might as well get ready for the day.

He still felt lethargic and drowsy, his body was warmer than usual- but he shrugged it off. I feel mostly fine, Dai finally got off the counter and walked to the fridge, closing up the tub of ice cream (which had less than half of its actual amount left after the boy devoured it) and putting it in its place. He cleaned the spoon and tossed it into the cutlery drawer.
