14 | Just like Home

*( Grace's POV)*

I woke up with a loud thud that came from a hand infront of my forehead. His touch was warm against my skin.

"Are you alright" Kai was always same to me ,caring. That's why we are best friends I guess. I nodded in response, my mind flashed to the moment when he caressed my hairs , or when his fingers were touching my lips or when he pinned me to the wall in defence in our first meet.

Am I attracted to him ?

No , it can't be like this. I quickly swiped all my thoughts away in a corner , we are just friends. Just friends. And more importantly, I want to get back to my home as soon as possible.

Unfortunately our bus is broken , and we are stuck in this noisy city. God knows how much time it'll take. It was already 6:30. I wish I was alone so I can just teleport. Stop.

Fortunately the bus stopped in the city , it wor be too tough to find a mechanic. We all were escorted out again and were instructed to sit in a park not for away from the bus. After all we were not that Young.

We all were sitting, Not all some were playing, running , even kissing. No teachers were there to see them or CCTV cameras to spot couples. Everyone was living at their best except me.

My temperature was rising constantly, I felt like fucking dying. I started shivering, i was shaking vigorously.

"Are you alright?" Kai raised his hand again and checked my temperature "Your fever" he paused " It's r-rising."

"It's fine" i slowly opened my eyes to see his face.

" Not it's not , your eyes are red , you are shaking and " He stopped and looked at my direction " You are everything but not fine ".

A pick up line

No He just said it in flow he quickly stood up and ran out of the park.

My eyes closed again.

After sometime a hand touched my forehead, it was not warm and comforting as Kai , it was cold. I tried to open my eyes but failed miserably.

"Take her to the bus " I heard a feminine voice say , Mrs.Railstone , the chemistry teacher. She is sweet and speaks rarely. I liked her only for one reason that she speaks rarely. Unlike the Principle or the Librarian.

Kai touched my shoulder and i slowly raised from the bench. I legs felt wobbly.

Mrs.Railstone helped him.

"I'll take her get something like a jacket or something to cover her bare hands " She commanded and took me to the bus.

The leather felt Ice cold against my skin. It was not so comfortable, minutes later I felt a piece of fabric against my hands. And someone say beside me.

I leaned against the shoulder rod that person. It was warm and comforting but not like Kai. A smell of Lavender Classic.Maybe I am thinking to much.

I was too tired to think more about it.

Just hallucinations.

Slowly I got lost in the world of dreams , It was the Comforting shoulder , or the hand caressing my face but it felt like home.

Just like Home.
