The next morning I woke up early to be able to get ready and run home for something I needed for the day.
I decided to wear a pink dress I had with a purple jacket that I had embroidered flowers on with purple ankle boots. I did my hair in a half up half down with two pig tails and bows. I grabbed my bag and decided to head out.
The ride home wasn't that far so it took a couple minutes and once I arrived I went right in to find mom cooking breakfast.
"Lola dear!" My mom cheered as she ran to hug me. She smelled of fresh flowers as she always did.
"Hi mommy," I hugged her back and planted a kiss on her cheek. "I left some fabric here that I need to make my dress for the coronation."
She smiled at me and went back to cooking as I ran upstairs to grab my fabric and before I got back downstairs I ran into my dad.
"My little wild flower, how are you darling?" He hugged me planting a kiss on my head. He tends to smell like musk and coconuts.
"I'm great Daddy," I smiled at him before we headed downstairs.
I gave them kisses goodbye as my mom handed me something that she wanted me to give to Gianna. So when I arrived back i school I went through my day as normal and during my free period I went to her goodness class. While she technically isn't a Villian her mom is Mother Gothel and Beast decided to not take any chances.
When I walked into the room I saw all of the Vks sitting and staring at the board with Gigi a seat ahead of Mal.
"Oh Magnolia welcome dear," Fairy Godmother said smiling at me and I smiled back. She always was very welcoming.
"Hi Fairy Godmother," I walked in a little more as all the Vks looked at me. "I just came to drop something off to Gigi." I walked to Gianna's desk and handed her the bag from my mom and gave her a hug before waving goodbye to everyone and leaving the class.
I usually spend my free time in the garden and today I decided I'd make some sketches of my dress for Ben's coronation.
I was probably one of the only people who had zero idea what they had going on when it came to this event. I know Audrey has been shopping for months, Belle has had Ben's suit made for the last year with adjustments being made constantly. I decided I'd make dresses for my sisters and I but it's taken me a couple months.
I have the bases for Dahlia and Gigi's dresses done and they just need all of the extras to send it over the top but mine is unstarted. I needed to figure out what I was going to wear.
"Hey blondie," I heard a voice call from behind me and I turned to find my best friend, Atticus. He's the son of Jasmine and Aladdin. We happen to get along extremely well because both of our fathers were thieves before they met our moms.
"Hey Atti," I smiled at him as I made room for him on the bench.
"Whatcha sketchin' there?" He asked looking at my sketch pad. He's always been interested in my art.
"My dress for Ben's coronation," I held up the sketch pad so he could get a better look and I smiled at what I saw, I think I can finally start making it.
"Maggie you have true talent," he smiled patting my back as we heard the Bell ring. "Well now we have to go to fucking trigonometry and prey we don't fall asleep." Atti pretended to sleep, snoring loudly causing me to laugh.
"Come on dumb ass," I hit his arm before I packed up all my stuff and we got up, walking over to my locker.
I put away everything I didn't need before being greeted by Audrey, Chad and Ben. Audrey was talking about coronation, as always, while chad followed her around and Ben listened very uninterested.
"Oh Maggie, cmon we have practice," she grabbed my arm and lead me to the locker room. Once we were dressed we walked out to the tourney field where I saw Carlos and Jay. They both looked over to me and I waved.
I could tell Carlos was completely lost on the rules of the game but Jay was taking it by storm. Audrey was visible mad that Jay was doing better than Ben and when I tried to place a comforting hand on her should she shrugged me off with a groan.
"Mags!" I heard someone call from behind me and I turned to see Gigi and Dahlia. I quickly ran toward them.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Mom says we need to come home tonight for a big family dinner," Dahlia smiled. She was just a ball of sunshine today.
"So right after classes we should head over there?" I asked leaning against the bleachers. Gigi seemed to be looking over my shoulder at something or someone in the distance so I followed her eye-line curiously to find her staring at Jay who was in the end zone celebrating his win in their scrimmage.
I smiled wildly looking back at her with a smirk. "Gianna Gothel-Rider," I slap her arm with a fake shocked face and matching gasp. "You like a certain VK."
She looked shocked then embarrassed then she scuffed. "Ew no, never that." She rolled her eye over dramatically trying to sell the bit but I knew she was lying.
"Yea okay miss thing but what time are we leaving for mom's?"
"Right after classes so we can get there a little early. Grandma and Grandpa are gonna be there for a bit and want to see us," Lia smiled again. She loves our grandparents, they always bring us something special.
"Oki dok, let's meet up by the statue after classes," I smiled and once plans were made I hugged my sisters and returned to cheer practice.
Usually my grandparents only come once a month and they already had their visit. And family dinner is Sundays...
