Carnival

I got out the car and start heading towards the entrance when I see of course, Benny. Really.
I don't move back to my home town just to see this dick everyday.

"Move the fuck out of the way Rodriguez" I say as I realize how much taller he is than me. Like okkkkk 😏

"Yeah, whatever. Where's Kenny?" He says looking down at me with a blank expression on his face.

"he's probably with Bertram or something. Now move dick." I say as I try and get around him again.

"Alright. Your hair looks like a mess by the way Y/l/n" he says, smirking before moving out the way and walking back into the carnival.

"FUCK OFF RODRIGUEZ. SCREW YOU." I yell as he's still walking away. Fucking asshole.

"What was that about." Veronica says shooting a disgusted look in the direction Benny walked off to as she walked up behind me.

"H e was just asking where your brother was. I don't know why he asked me" I say turning around and side eyeing tf outta Benny. 😒

"Well where were you guys, I need you during that conversation."  I say to them as I walk up to the booth to buy the tickets for us

"I dropped my lipgloss in between the seats of your moms car I had to get it" Devora says in a sad tone as her and Veronica walk up to the booth and grab their tickets

After riding a couple rides and of course getting as many funnel cakes I can fit in my stomach, it was time for my favorite part of the carnival ever since i was a little girl : The Corn Maze

I have always like the idea of having to work hard to find my way out. I feel like it sends a message. I was so excited to do it this year because I haven't been in a corn maze in WAYYYYYY too long.

I've been doing a good job at avoiding Benny but i haven't seen any of the other boys either since the first day I got here so I have to make it my mission to hang out with them more.

"Y/N OVER HERE!" I hear from over by the corn maze.

I look over to see the group at the entrance to the corn maze waving me over. I missed this so much.

"Y/n what took you so long to find us" Squints asks me while pushing up his glasses

"Yeah,yeah it took you so long to come hang out with us" Yeah-Yeah follows up with.

"I've been looking for you guys this whole time. It's YOURRR fault" I joke while poking Squints in the side

"Ow stop that!" He says, slapping my hand away.

"What are we waiting for?? Let's get in there!!" Ham says, getting impatient.

"YEAHHH!!" everyone says together

"Hey where's V and D?" Kenny says, catching up to me

"They were eating and told me I should go find you guys." I respond, nudging him in the arm a little.

"Well it's really cool your back Y/n" he says poking me in the cheek.

"I know." I say before I run to catch up with the rest of the gang.

After a while everyone went their separate ways. And for me? I was very VERY lost. I was wandering around, taking left turns, then right. I take a sharp right when I run straight into Benny. Am I lucky at all lately? No.

"Watch where you're going Y/n." Benny scoffs looking me up and down before rolling his eyes.

"How about you do the same Benny. And it's a corn maze, nobody knows where they're going." I sarcastically say back.

"Where is everyone else?" He asks as his eyes wander around a little.

"I actually don't know I think I saw-"

I was cut off by what sounded like Smalls yelling,

"GUYS WHERE ARE YOU??"

I look over at Benny to see him already looking at me. He's too fineeeeee but we can't let him know that.

"What?" I say smiling a little bit. "Ohhhhh you've gone soft on me now haven't you? And it's only been a dayyy" I say teasingly

"Why would I? You're nothing special. We have to go find the others come on." he says starting to walk away but then he realized I couldn't really see.

I felt a hand touch mine and I looked up, Benny was right there.

"Come one we gotta go find everyone." he says as he lets go of my hand and motions with his head where to go.

That was the first time I had truly ever felt butterflies and they weren't going away. And from Benny Rodriguez?? REALLY???
