16 year old Maureen Cox and 22 year old Richard 'Ringo Starr' Starkey, were walking back from their second date together.

"So, did you like it?" Ringo asked, scratching his face. He had recently joined the rising band, The Beatles, after Pete Best had been fired, and had to shave off his scruffy beard in order to fit the clean cut image that the other three bandmates, 22 year old John Lennon, 20 year old Paul McCartney, and 19 year old George Harrison, had. They were all growing out of their 'Teddy Boy' phases. John suggested that they should grow their hair long, and everyone had agreed, even Ringo. At first, Ringo had been a little nervous, being in a new band and all. But soon he found that he had natural chemistry with the other band members, especially George. George was the baby of the group, a shy young lad with a lot of talent. And hoo boy, did they get along well. The four of them were bound to have some good times together.

"Of course, Ritchie," Maureen told him, "I enjoy spending time with you."

"Yeah, it sure was a nice restaurant," Ringo giggled nervously, "I honestly don't know how I saved up for it. It was darn fancy."

"Well, you are in The Beatles," Maureen replied, squeezing his arm, making him blush, "and they do have... what's his name again?"

"Brian," Ringo replied, "Brian Epstein's his name. And they've got a record producer, I believe. I've met him. George Martin. He's a good chap, that man. Quite like him."

"Oh Ritchie," Maureen giggled, "you're so trusting. It's not good for you." She lit a cigarette, and squeezed his arm tighter.

"I can't help it, Mo," Ringo told her, "it's just me nature."

Finally, they stopped at Maureen's house.

"Well, here we are," Ringo told her awkwardly, "at your house..."

"Me dad's going to be mad that I arrived late," Maureen commented, "I told him I'd be back by seven."

"Maureen, it's ten o'clock!"

"Aww, he won't kill me," Maureen chuckled, "plus, it was worth it. I get to be with you."

"Me?" Ringo blushed, "well... I..."

Maureen moved closer to him, taking his hands in hers.

"Goodnight, Ritchie," she spoke softly, it made Ringo's heart flutter.

"G'night, Mo," Ringo said. He leaned in and gently kissed her. Three seconds passed before they parted.

"See you... Thursday?" Ringo asked, "what about... the Cavern Club? I want to do something simple this time. Plus, I don't have any money left over for anythin' fancy."

"Sounds like a plan," Maureen smiled.
