The mirror hates me too
Reflecting every flaw, every imperfection
I stand before it searching for something
Anything to love, but all i find see is disappointment
The mirror is ruthless
Highlighting the scars, the marks
The things I wish I could hide
It tells a story I don't want to hear
I try to stand tall
To find some grace
But the reflection stares back, unkind
It whispers lies, feeding doubts that gnaw at me
I long to break free from its judgement
To see myself through kinder eyes
But each time I look, the mirror wins.
