slap

I told you what was right,
And what did I get in return?
A sharp pain on my cheek,
Why do you always fight

All I wanted was to lower the stress,
But all you ever do is make it rise higher,
You liar
You promised that you'd study hard,
Make sure that dad wouldn't worry,
But all you ever do is make him worry, stress him out even more,
Disappoint him.
I try my best,
To be in your shoes,
And understand you,
But you keep doing more outrageous things,
What do you expect in return?

All I wanted was to make it right,
But all I got in return was a slap,
But why did it hurt even more in my heart?
Than it did on my cheek?
