Komal paced the length of the room, the darkness and cold pressing in around her. She bit her lip and sighed. This was what they deserved for betraying and abandoning her. She must deliver her wrath. Komal knew that after this, there would be no turning back. The anger, betrayal, and deceit she had endured must be returned to those who inflicted it upon her. Once, she had loved them. But now, she hated them more than ever. Anxiety gnawed at her as she bit her lip again, waiting. But where the hell--?

"Komal."

She froze, her blood running cold. Turning slowly, like a deer caught in headlights, she faced the intruder. Her mind raced, searching for an excuse to explain why she was here so late at night.

"I-I, uh--"

"Save the excuses." The man strode into the room and settled onto the couch. Komal stood there, nerves jangling, panic rising. Why was he here? How did he know she would be here? What was his motive? As if reading her mind, he spoke again.

"Don't worry. I'm here to help you."

Komal felt her heart skip a beat. Help?

"I don't know what you're talking about," she said, feigning innocence. This man was dangerously cunning and bold. She had witnessed his ruthless methods and knew better than to trust him.

He smiled, a calm and calculated expression. "You don’t want to destroy Neeti Parekh and Bela Parekh?"

Komal's eyes widened. "H-how did you know?"

The man remained calm. "You wouldn't believe me even if I told you."

Komal clenched her fists, trying to steady her racing heart. "I don't need your help. I can handle this myself."

He continued as if she hadn’t spoken. "Have you met the Parekhs' driver? He's my man. He works for me."

Komal narrowed her eyes. "They're your good friends. Why do you want to destroy them?"

The man chuckled. "Friends? In business, there are no friends. Didn't your father teach you that, Komal? You are, after all, plotting against your foster sisters."

Komal looked away, gritting her teeth. How did he know everything about her?

The man sighed. "The Parekh's will be a threat to us if we don't act. Komal, by accepting my help, we can achieve our goals. It's a win-win situation."

Komal considered the proposal. This was better than anything she had previously planned. She met the man's gaze. "No one must know about this. It's between us."

He nodded. "Of course."

Komal approached him and extended her hand to seal the deal. The man shook her hand, a predatory smile playing on his lips. "You are wise, Komal. You've made the right choice."

He stood up, towering over her. "Now, about Darshan, the Parekhs' driver. You know what to do with him, don't you?"

Komal matched the evil glint in his eyes. "Yes. I'll reconnect with my sisters, and he'll be our pawn."

The man smiled. "Very well. Let your sisters believe that everything is fine between you three."

Komal nodded and turned to leave the room but paused when the man spoke again. "Gather all the information you can on Neeti Parekh. Everything."

She glanced back at him, her resolve firm. "Consider it done."
