-Barnacles of course has the polar bear strength, but i bet he growls too when hes not happy.
- hes probrably a picky eater. Not the kind that only eats chicken tenders and fries, the kind who HAS to have locally sourced, 100% organic and free range otherwise he wont eat it. Hes a pain in the ass at resturaunts lmao
- this man cannot be in any temperature over 17°C for over 10 minutes. Hes literally a melting ice lolly XD
- he takes a lot of naps. Polar bears dont hibernate, but they nap in snowstorms. I think hed only nap if it got to hot for him. Hed head back to the gup, blast that AC and sleep for a good few hours.
- he has clown feet😭 Polar bears have massive feet so i thought it would be funny if this mf had literal clown shoes xd
-y'know how cats can sense stuff like tornadoes before humans can? I like the idea that Kwazii could be like "Dashi, check the storm tracker. My pirate senses feel something." and theres like 5 full blown ass hurricanes on their way.
- Acts like cats when they do the 'im better than you all im just here for the food' thing, but in reality he loves those dumbasses that took him in <3
- Omg that kneading thing cats do on blankets. Kwazii does that. End of story.
- hes VERY vocal when bored.
- His favourite compliment is "you act like a cat". He thinks people are talking about lions or tigers. No Kwazii, they mean you're like a stupid orange cat.
-PESO IS AN OLD ROMANTIC. Penguins are a monogamous species so they mate for life. Peso wants to meet his soulmate and live happily ever after.
- he goes to sleep normally, but wakes up with his sheets in the corner like a nest and is like "what the flappity flippers??"

- this is more based off the show instead of animal traits, BUT HE STILL HAS A HUGE FUCKING FAMILY. One of his aunts has like 8 kids Peso has to look after. Hes the second oldest in his family, After Pogo.
-he puts an ice pack in his pillowcase every night cause he likes the cold.
-Dashi likes her head and her belly scratched. No massages. Just scratches.
- She is the most FEIRCLEY FUCKING LOYAL person to walk this planet. The only thing shed ever do behind someones back is get them a secret gift. (or gossip. She is the gossip queen and thats that)
- I live how this is canon already, but she almost never knows if shes in danger. Like some dogs dont bark at robbers because they're like 'New frien? :) will play catch?"
- She is the bravest, smartest, most loyal person most of the time, but sometimes shes a straight up airhead. 'look, a pretty butterfly :D" kind of vibes.
- she is very active and into sports. Basketball and tennis are her two faves, but running is a close third. She always tries to get people to play a game of basketball with her, and on multiple occasions has begged for an official Octonauts sports day.
-eats literally anything. All the food is good. Shes lactose intolerant (cause y'know... Dog) but doesnt care about it at all. She tries to build up a tolerance by drinking a ludicrous amont of hot chocolate, but usually just ends up on the toilet (it was all worth it though)
- Shellington holds his own hand. It was a little embarassing to him when people caught on, but now when hes worried, anyone is willing to offer a hand (literally)
- Shellfish allergy. It wouldnt make sense to make him only allergic to urchins cause hes a human, so hes allergic to all shellfish. It makes him sad because he really wants to try things like seafood noodles but cant without fucking dying.
- he can hold his breath for over 2 minutes. Pearl can too. I headcannon that they were swimming in the ocean before they could literally walk. Shellington has been swimming all his life, and he still likes sleeping on the water surface "sea otter style".
- this one is kind of Dashton territory but Shellington likes lying on top of Dashi’s chest, like baby sea otters do. Something about it is calming. He also really likes it vice versa, with Dashi on top. Having weight on top of him has proved to be a sleeping remedy, so a wheighted blanked can suffice for Dashi when shes not there.
- Tweak has buck teeth. She wants to get braces so bad bevause shes embarassed of her teeth, but no one else really cares about them.
-shes a vegetarian, cause shes a rabbit. No other reason, shes just a rabbit.
-when Rabbits feel threatened they do a little boxing thingy with their paws. Guys Tweak would be like a champion boxer, hear me out.
-rabbits like digging. When Tweak is at the beach, she only has to be there for 10 minutes before shes dug a 8 foot deep hole to sit in.
-really cuddly. She doesn't try to hide it, it was just a suprise to the other Octonauts. Like 'wait this strong muscly butch lesbian with a reclusive past is actually the best hugger ever. Dang thats a new one.'
- she still munches on carrots like she does in the show.
- i cant think of much for Inkling, apart from the fact he has really dry, sensetive skin so he doesnt go on missions much
-Paani is an amazing climber and has been climbing trees for longer than he can remember.
-Omfg, indian macaques swim all the time. Thats why Paani fell in love with hydrology.
