So you think that was the end of Fractureverse Lyria do you? That she would remain in her prison cell trapped in the Fractureverse? Well then you guess couldn't have been further from the truth. From the moment she'd been thrown into the cell next to the formidable Fractureverse Hilda, she was desperate to make her escape and have her revenge. The other Lyria was going to pay for this by witnessing Fractureverse Lyria conquer her reality.
"You stupid child! If you hadn't run off to that other reality we wouldn't be sitting here in this prison together!" Fractureverse Hilda shouted for the umpteen times. Fractureverse Lyria rolled her eyes as the commander had been saying the same thing over and over again for months. While she cared not for Fractureverse Hilda's rants she was slightly fearful of her and so she chose to spend most of her time on the furthest wall away. The two hated the sight of each other and the fact that they'd been placed in cells next to each other made it seem even worse of a punishment.
"This is your own stupidity. I'm stuck here as a prisoner of war, Lady Azura is dead and the Frostbourne have almost lost the war thanks to you. I almost feel sorry for everything I did to that other Lyria as you're the one who deserved that!" Hissed Fractureverse Hilda. Fractureverse Lyria said nothing she'd learnt after the course of several months to stay quiet and not wind up the commander. "Go on, say something. It's no good being depressed. Why don't you lighten up both of our days by being rude to the guards or actually think of a way to get us out of here." Said Fractureverse Hilda.
Still the girl remained silent. She had of course been planning her escape all this time but she wasn't going to free Fractureverse Hilda not after the amount of times the commander had been extremely cruel to her. Fractureverse Lyria had learnt not to be impulsive and to wait patiently for the right moment. Soon the guards would come to deliver their lunch which would be the perfect moment to begin her plan. Hearing footsteps approaching Fractureverse Lyria got up and walked towards the side wall with iron bars that separated the two cells. Fractureverse Hilda was shocked by such a daring action.
"If I did get out of here I certainly wouldn't take you." Fractureverse Lyria said smugly. Fractureverse Hilda was infatuated. "You disloyal beast!" She screeched as she rattled the bars. Fractureverse Lyria then dropped to the floor, her hand covering her face crying. The guards then came across them and saw Fractureverse Lyria on the floor. Immediately one of them unlocked the cell and crouched down to check on her. "The commander, she hit me." Fractureverse Lyria cried. "I did not, the girl's just a lying drama queen." Snorted Fractureverse Hilda before realizing that Lyria was probably doing this to escape.
Now both guards were trying to get Fractureverse Lyria to take her hand away so that they could see the injury. Fractureverse Lyria suddenly removed her hand and smacked one of the guards. The other one tried to make a grab for her but she was too quick. She slid out of his grasp and shut the cell door on him. The guard had foolishly left the keys in the door and so Fractureverse Lyria locked them in. Fractureverse Hilda shouted at her to be let out but Fractureverse Lyria carried on running without looking back.
She'd managed to find herself an axe and so she was able to clear away at any resistance that she came across. The first part of her plan had worked; she just needed to find the vault in the castle. When she found it she soon began to hammer away at the lock with the axe. The vault was unguarded as all guards were out searching for her thinking she'd immediately make her escape than explore the castle. Soon they would find out that this was a fatal mistake on their behalf. Finally Fractureverse Lyria wrenched the door open and there stood the precious end crystals.
Fractureverse Naues and Fractureverse Zarkos came to a spilt in a hallway. Fractureverse Naues ordered Fractureverse Zarkos to head to the right while he ran down the left. All of Fractureverse Naues's guards and soldiers were in a panic as the grandmaster tried to calm them down as he past them while continuing to search the castle. He turned a corner and froze when he saw Fractureverse Lyria standing with all the end crystals in her possession. It felt like a dream come true to her being able to feel such power. Fractureverse Naues raised his weapon prepared to fight till his last to stop Fractureverse Lyria.
"Ah I'm terribly sorry grandmaster but with all these crystals you won't last long enough to die a heroic death. In fact there'll be nothing but ashes for people to remember you by." Laughed Fractureverse Lyria. "Surrender the crystals and my army shall spare you before you think of killing me." He said knowing that these would likely be his last words. Fractureverse Lyria refused and so he charged towards her with his spear. Then Fractureverse Lyria activated the crystals and a huge blast of energy was sent towards Fractureverse Naues. The light cleared but nothing remained of the hallway, not even a brick.
Fractureverse Patrick was astounded when he saw Fractureverse Lyria walk straight through the gates of Dreadfort. "Welcome home." He said sweetly though if you knew him well enough you could hear the poison dripping in his voice. "You've failed the Frostbourne. You've lost almost all our soldiers and all you can do is smile when I return." Fractureverse Lyria said and she went straight up to his face. Everyone's eyes turned to them in surprise that Fractureverse Lyria dared say anything to the king. "It wouldn't have happened if you'd been a good little girl." He replied still talking softly but this time with more venom.
"I suggest you stand down as king." She said abruptly. "What?" He cried bewildered. "Stand down." She threatened. "Why should I?" He hissed. She pulled out 3 end crystals and smirked. "How did you get them and give!" Fractureverse Patrick snarled but Fractureverse Lyria refused and stayed quiet. He suddenly wrapped his hands around her throat and kicked her to the ground. Then he took his weapon from his back and went to bring the blade down on Fractureverse Lyria's neck but he didn't know that she hadn't revealed all the end crystals she had.
A magical blast exploded which sent Fractureverse Patrick flying back into a building. The blast had been so powerful he fell down in a lifeless position. Everyone who'd been watching as witnesses gasped. Just then they saw Fractureverse Abigail standing at the gates with an army of soldiers. "What are they doing here?" Cried Fractureverse Siphon. "She's betrayed us!" Shouted Fractureverse Stella. "Don't be ridiculous. I've made a deal with this newly formed Unburnt Rebellion who've agreed to ally with us as we were too few in numbers. They've done us a favor and have crushed the Nether Horde." Fractureverse Lyria exclaimed and some soldiers cheered.
She bent down to pick up the crown that had fallen off the king's head. Lifting up the crown onto her head, she went to reveal her plans. Far too long she'd been bullied, teased, unwanted and underestimated by those of the Frostbourne but now she would put an end to it all. "I hereby proclaim myself as Queen of the Frostbourne! Any who dares challenge me may do so if they want to end up like him." She announced and pointed to Fractureverse Patrick's body. No one stepped forward.
"Good because you've suffered for too long under the deceased king's downward war strategy leaving the Frostbourne crumbling. No more I say! With the threat of the Horde gone we can begin to expand our empire beyond this reality and who knows maybe we'll have a multi universe empire at the end of it!" She yelled as her speech began to motivate the soldiers as more of them began cheering. "Hold up! Why do you get to keep the crystals? You're not the chosen one!" Demanded Fractureverse Stella. Fractureverse Rain whispered for her to be quiet as he was nervous of Fractureverse Lyria.
Fractureverse Lyria glanced over at them glaring. "Fine you can have any crystals you find in the other reality. I've made the same deal with Queen Abigail." She said. "That's not fair!" Replied Fractureverse Stella. "Alright once we conquer the other reality you can have all my crystals as well. I don't really care for them, I just want to be queen and have my revenge on the other reality." Fractureverse Lyria explained as she dismissed Fractureverse Stella with a flick of her wrist. Fractureverse Stella said nothing and reluctantly agreed.
"Now we're all on the same page we shall march and take over two pillager towns in one swoop then we'll be free to take of the rest of the other reality." Fractureverse Lyria gleaned. "3 cheers for the queen." Announced Siphon as he liked to be the center of attention. The armies cheered in excitement. Pleased Fractureverse Lyria appointed Fractureverse Siphon as her military advisor. "Let's bring the darkness on those weaker than us!" She shouted as everyone began scrabbling around preparing for war. 'Lyria I hope you're ready for me cause I'm back and you'll pay!' Fractureverse Lyria smiled to herself.
