The next morning Fractureverse Lyria had begrudgingly set about doing the chores that the other Lyria would've been excepted to do. While she hated every minute she did extremely well to hide her dissatisfaction. No one would have guessed that she was unhappy. "Good morning Lady Lyria." Said a voice coming from her right as she crossed through the streets of the city. "Good morning." She replied putting on a fake smile. She saw Kane walk up to her with his pistol in one hand.

"Do you know if the practice range is free right now?" He asked her. "Yes. The archers aren't using the range either as they're currently busy elsewhere." Fractureverse Lyria explained. Just then Agatha strolled by and overhearing their conversation. "Why don't you join Lord Kane? It's been a while since I last heard you practicing your shooting." Agatha proposed.

Fractureverse Lyria's blood ran cold. She'd given up shooting a long time ago in order to avoid her sister at the shooting range. On top of that she didn't have very good memories with guns. However she'd have to agree in order to not look suspicious since the other Lyria clearly didn't mind, although she didn't know that her counterpart had stopped shooting after her sister's death as it reminded her to much. The thought of going to the range that gave Fractureverse Lyria bad memories greatly unsettled her but she didn't have a choice.

"Um yes that's a good idea. I'll take a break from my jobs for a bit and continue them this afternoon." Fractureverse Lyria replied to Agatha, who smiled back. "I hope you both enjoy your time there." Agatha said as she went about her business. Kane thanked her while Fractureverse Lyria waved her goodbye. She was thinking about Agatha's words. 'I'm going to hate every minute of this.' She thought to herself. However much she hated this idea she followed Kane while forcing herself to maintain a positive attitude on the outside.

Upon approaching the practice range they spotted Vimir. "Greetings Lord Kane and Captain Lyria. Do you plan on using the range this morning?" He asked. "Yes, provided we're not disturbing you in any way." Kane replied. "No, no, not at all. There's plenty of space for us all." Vimir said warmly. He then looked over to Fractureverse Lyria and noticed that she didn't have either a bow or a gun. "I'll open up the small armory and get out one of the spare flintlock guns for you. Remember it's 10 rounds as we're limited in ammunition. Would you like a pistol or a rifle?" Inquired Vimir.

Fractureverse Lyria didn't respond as she didn't really want to be here in the first place. "I'll get you a pistol then since it'll be easier for you to hold as you haven't been shooting since your sister, Captain Doriane's death. I'm glad you chose to take it up again." He said, speaking for her before he quietly bowed his head out of respect and went to fetch a pistol. 'Hmm so I guess the other Lyria hadn't been shooting for a while either. Well not until our battle which was just as well for if she still had a good aim she would've shot me. I suppose I can get away with a bad aim then.' Thought Fractureverse Lyria.

Kane was already firing some practice shots by the time Vimir came back. He handed Lyria the pistol. "Here you are and here's 10 rounds of amo." Vimir exclaimed. After watching him prepare to fire his own shots, Fractureverse Lyria's attention was drawn to the pistol in her hands. It felt much heavier than she had assumed it would. As she continued to stare at the gun, she remembered the time she had wielded up Fractureverse Doriane's pistol before a shooting competition.

Fractureverse Doriane was fuming mad when she'd tried to shoot her pistol and the gun wouldn't fire at all. The crowd laughed at her when she had to forfeit the competition and as a result Fractureverse Azura had won. It was only after the award ceremony that Fractureverse Doriane had got over her initial anger to properly inspect her gun. Upon realising that it had been wielded up with metal, she knew that it had to have been her younger sister. Fractureverse Lyria had of course done this prank as an act of revenge as her sister hadn't let her enter the competition due to her being another direct threat.
