Kie Kamado's P.O.V:

Everyone was put to sleep now, so I decided to pack in for the night and get some well needed rest. That was, until I was gently closing the curtains of the kitchen, careful not to wake up any of my darling children.
I saw.. a man.. walking through the forest and heading in the direction of our little house, he was quite far away so I rushed to close the curtains and sprinted to wake everyone up.
It took a few minutes for everyone to fully feel awake again, other than Nezuko, Takeo and Y/N, who immediately shot up at being told someone unknown was approaching their house, and by extension, their family.
Y/N gathered Shigeru, Nezuko sprinted to get Rokuta and I helped Takeo get Hanako; we didn't know if we were in any actual danger yet.. but it was best to be safe, at least. I grabbed a few knives from the kitchen, kept one for myself and gave the other two to my oldest daughters.
"Keep your siblings and yourselves save!" I told them while ushering Hanako to go stay with Takeo. "Mama, I'm scared!! What if he wants to hurt us?!" Shigeru wailed, and Y/N had to shush him incase it alerts the mystery man of them being awake.
"Everyone, be quiet! We can't let him know we are here!" She whispered fiercely, her eyes blazing with a sort of determination she had never shown before. It was in times like this that it truly showed she was one of the oldest.
Hopefully Tanjiro was okay though, what if the man had gotten to him first! NO! Don't overthink, Kie! Tanjiro will be fine, he was strong!
'But what if he wasn't strong enough..'
A tiny voice whispered in the back of my head, but I took a few deep breaths and rid myself of those thoughts, focusing on protecting the ones who were in the house right now and in possible danger.

(A/N: Sorry that this chapter is so short, literally shorter than any chapter I've ever wrote before, but, since I haven't been updating, I decided to post this unfinished draft that has been sitting in my draft for a week now, waiting to be complete, so you guys could have a slight insight of what happens next in the story.
