Addison POV:
"Can we go to the Tyrannosaurus Kingdom?" Gray asks, jumping around with excitement.
"Why not. It's actually one of my favorite dinosaurs." I smile at him.
"Me too! I also love Triceratops, they're so huge and beautiful! What else do you like?"
"Well, I love raptors too. Do you like them?" I question, intrigued by the interest that we both share passionately.
"Yeah but they kinda scare me. They're so fast and their jaw can kill 3 people at the same time."
"Woo y'all are some experts of dinosaurs or what?" Zach states, impressed by our knowledge.
"Yep, we are so don't introduce yourself in this conversation, you know nothing about them." Gray shoots back.
"Yes, I do." Zach argues
"Prove it."
"The meat eaters are called carnivorous." he affirms
Gray and I glance at each other before bursting out of laughter.
"Forreal? Wow, I wasn't aware of that." I utter in a sarcastic tone.
"I'm glad I taught you something then." he replies arrogantly
"Just accept the fact that you suck at this subject." Gray mutters as we make our way towards the Tyrannosaurus Kingdom.
As soon as we arrive at the attraction, I realize that the show takes place inside a tree log. Scanning the weird location, my eyes fall upon a large showcase where visitors can observe the T-Rex in her natural domain. Unfortunately, the loud crowd in front me is blocking my view; their huge heads invade my sight.
Tired of standing on the tip of my toes, I successfully slip through the mob and approach the protective window to take a glimpse from what's behind. Besides the lush vegetation spread on the forest, I see a goat tied to a pole, who's probably wondering what's happening. Fixing the animal intensely, guilt builds inside of me, twisting my stomach into a tight knot. I feel really bad for the goat- its life won't last long.
Accompanied by loud footsteps, the T-Rex suddenly looms up with a terrifying air held into her eyes. Completely astonished, I eyeball the colossal beast from the top to the bottom, a swarm of thoughts drowning my mind. Am I hallucinating or is this real? Well, I'm at Jurassic World, a park full of dinosaurs so I guess I'm not dreaming. This is reality. But no big deal, there's just a Tyrannosaur caught under the eyes of hundred persons. Ready to engulf the poor goat for people's entertainment, the legendary predator roars like a volcano in eruption as signal.
"OH MY GOD SHE'S SO HUGE!" Gray shouts, amazed as much as I am.
"No shit, Sherlock." Zach mumbles, rolling his eyes.
Holding up their cameras and phones in the air, the tourists rush towards the glass, huddling like a wild cow herd to observe the creature. Trapped in between sharp teeth, the goat tries to escape from the T-Rex's strong jaw but unfortunately his attempt fails. Backing up as far away from this scene, I shift behind a woman and cover up my eyes.
"What's wrong?"
"I'm not watching that poor goat getting devoured." I reply to Zach's question, my eyes still firmly closed.
"It's over." he confirms, pulling my hands away from my face.
"Let's go somewhere else."
As Gray suggested, we go to the Giant Gentle Petting Zoo where kids can pet, feed and ride herbivores babies.
