Addison POV:

As we were all fascinated admiring the reptiles in their small habitat, a click snap us back to reality from our daze. I spin back to see a group of man holding a heavy box and stocking samples in it. A cold steam comes out which I guess it's air conditioned to keep everything refreshed inside.

"What are you doing?" Claire asks them, a bit confused.

"I'm afraid that's above your pay grade, honey." a familiar voice speaks. Looking around, I perceive Hoskins advancing towards us.

"Where's Henry?" Claire questions him

"Doctor Wu, he works for us now." Hoskins reveals

"That's not a real dinosaur." Gray mentions, observing the computer placed on a desk that's occupied by many other equipment of the laboratory. The screen projects a image of the Indominus Rex and all of her features.

"No, it ain't kid. But somebody's gotta make sure that this company has a future. Imagine that one, fraction of the size, deadly, intelligent and able to hide from the most advanced military technology. A living weapon unlike anything we've ever seen.
You see, million years of evolution, what'd we learn?" Hoskins explains, devilishly staring at us with his smirk on.

Haven't he learn the danger of this company already? He's risking people's lives with that crazy idea. This need to stop before everything becomes even worse than it actually is.

"Nature is the gift-" he pauses and curses as a raptor penetrates into the room loudly snarling. Gray lets out a small shriek, surprised by that unexpected visit. Standing up in front of everyone, Owen extends his arms, putting them around us like a shield. We slowly step back while the dinosaur approaches Hoskins who's walking backwards.

"Easy, easy boy, easy. Hey hey, we-we're on the same side right? Right?" he shutters nervously, his back pined to a wall, inches away from the creature. Our attention fixed to what's happening, we cautiously back up near the exit to discreetly slip away without getting noticed.

"Easy, easy. I'm on your side." Hoskins whispers, gently tending his hand to the starving animal that seems intrigued by him. The beast groans, widely opening his jaw and showing off his sharp teeth. Exactly how I predicted it, he engulfs Hoskins' hand causing the poor victim to scream in pain.
Enchaining the attack by jumping on him, his robust tail accidentally slams some infiltrated water tubes on the corner. Breaking the glasses, the liquids spill everywhere forming a huge wave. Before we could flee, the tide of water sink our clothes, nearly drowning us.

Aware of the danger, we rapidly leave the room that is filling up of water.

"Guys, this way! C'mon!" Claire points out to the other side of the hallway.

Zach, Gray and I start racing with the two adults behind. We abruptly stop as the raptor from earlier on pass through a glassed wall of the laboratory and fall. Turning back, another raptor appears, blocking our way from Claire and Owen.
Trapped in this plight with nowhere else to go, I search for somewhere to escape. My eyes fall upon a empty place on the opposite side of the laboratory.

I take the opportunity to slope off while the Velociraptor next to us is trying to regain his balance, pieces of glass on the floor complicating his task. Grasping Zach and Gray's hands, lost looks molded in their faces, I pull them into the entry.
I glance behind and view Claire and Owen running away from one of the fierce dinosaurs.

Quickly inspecting the piece, I perceive a door at the bottom. We swiftly rush towards it closely followed by the other raptor. Finally reaching it, Zach opens the metallic gate that leads to another small room and closes it. A bang thunders against the door as the dinosaur nearly entered.

"How many times do we have to run?" I sigh, sliding my back on the wall, collapsing on the ground.

"A lot. And I'm 100% sure that something's going to happen again. Just watch." Zach replies as the boys sit next to me.

"What?!" Gray exclaims anxiously at Zach's remark.

"You always say stupid things to scare your brother, shut up please." I whisper in Zach's ear, nudging his hips.

"Yep, I'm good at that and many other things too." he smirks earning a glare from me.

"We're safe here Gray. Don't worry." I affirm reassuring him.

"How about Claire and Owen?" he inquiries

"I can confirm you that they're doing fine." I smile at the kid who returns the gesture.

"Are we getting out of here or?" Zach demands

"I'm kinda tired. Let's rest a bit please." Gray gasps

"Wow. That's surprising to hear you say that."

"True. Normally you're like a little ball of energy." I agree with Zach.

"Maybe but this day really exhausted me. We've almost got attacked by some Pterodactyl plus the raptors. I'm done for now." he grumbles

Doesn't it sound crazy? Just thinking about everything that has occurred since the Gyrosphere incident blows my mind. I just can't believe this is reality. It's so overwhelming.

"That's nothing compared to what Addison and I have been through." Zach shoots back, breaking my thoughts.

"Well what have you been through?" Gray furrows up a brow at the both of us.

"Plenty of things that you might not want to hear." I respond to not afraid him by our troubling journey.

"Oh yeah, I get it. Y'all kissed, more than once actually. Am I right? Just the way you two look at each other tells a lot. It's totally obvious there's a chemistry between you two and-"

"I wasn't talking about that! Something more serious than that happened. The Indominus Rex chased us, once again." I interrupt Gray

"So it wasn't serious when we kissed? It meant nothing to you?" Zach snaps, his voice cracking.

Ugh. Damn it. He misunderstood me. I think I expressed that sentence wrongly.

"Oh so y'all did kiss? I knew it!" Gray exhales joyfully. His grin soon fades away, noticing the tension he just created.

"Zach, that's not what I meant. Let's pretend I didn't say anything." I declare

"Not until you explain what you really meant then." he retorts sternly.

"It's just that... Well, uh..." I trail off, searching for the good words to use.

"Just forget it. You two obviously like each other and that's all that matter." Gray speaks, saving me from my struggle but also making the situation embarrassing.

"I do like her." Zach admits, causing my heart to melt.

Nonsensical thoughts and unanswered questions flood my mind, wondering if he's really sincere.

"Do you?" he asks me, locking his eyes with mine.

"Yes." my mouth finally lets out after a few seconds of being unable to talk.

"Just kiss already!" Gray blurts out as we all chuckle.

Zach places his hand on my cheek and presses his lips against mine once more today. But it felt different from the other times. It felt magical, like if he triggered a spark inside of me. Exactly when we first kissed, but something stronger than that.

"I said a kiss. Not a make out session!" Gray rolls his eyes as we pull away, laughing at this awkward moment.
