Saraswati stood in the back office of Mrs. Kapoor's boutique, her heart pounding. The usually vibrant and welcoming space felt cold and oppressive today. Mrs. Kapoor sat behind her desk, her expression a mix of disappointment and anger. The boutique's assistant manager, Rajiv Shaw, stood by the door, arms crossed, watching the unfolding scene.

Mrs. Kapoor cleared her throat, her voice stern. "Saraswati, I have received several reports of missing dresses over the past month. After an internal audit, we discovered that dresses worth $15,000 are unaccounted for. The delivery challans and inventory logs all have your signature. How do you explain this?"

Saraswati's eyes widened in shock. "Mrs. Kapoor, W..what are you saying? I swear, I had nothing to do with this! I've always been diligent with my work. There must be some mistake."

Mrs. Kapoor shook her head, pushing a stack of documents towards Saraswati. "These are the delivery challans and inventory logs. Each one has your signature, indicating that you received and checked the dresses. How do you explain this?"

Saraswati scanned the documents, her hands trembling. She recognized her signature but couldn't understand how this had happened. "I... I don't know how this could be. I always check the deliveries carefully. Maybe someone forged my signature?"

Rajiv stepped forward, his tone accusatory. "Come on, Saraswati. Do you expect us to believe that someone went through all this trouble to forge your signature? The evidence is clear. You were in charge, and the dresses are missing."

Saraswati felt tears pricking her eyes. "Please, Mrs. Kapoor, believe me. I would never do something like this. Maybe we should check the security footage? It might show something."

Mrs. Kapoor glanced at her crying self and pity at Saraswati. She was sad but again she was the businesswoman who was there to make her own name and it was her priority to take every chance she get.

Josh sat in the sleek, modern office of Mrs. Kapoor's boutique, a look of steely determination on his face. Across from him, Mrs. Kapoor leaned back in her chair, her fingers tapping rhythmically on the armrest as she regarded him with a mixture of curiosity and suspicion.
