Saraswati's thesis had made waves in the academic world, so much so that many professors in the lab were eager to have her join their projects. But even with all the accolades, Saraswati shared her accomplishments with her father, albeit indirectly through her brother, Aniket. Despite her achievements, she missed her family deeply. However, she was determined to stay focused on her purpose—to improve her village's quality of life, particularly for the women who desperately needed advanced equipment for their livelihoods.

Her life had taken a dramatic turn after joining TH Co. Inc. She knew she had to prove herself here, not just for her own sake but to secure the help her village needed. Her friendship with Theodore had been an unexpected blessing; he was the most humble man she had ever met. In stark contrast, the landowner and the toy manufacturing company owner she had approached for help had been arrogant and dismissive, leading to a disastrous encounter that she wished to forget. Though she had escaped unscathed, her family remained entangled in the struggles she had left behind.

Lost in thought, Saraswati reminisced about the hardships her family faced, and a tear slipped down her cheek. Suddenly, a voice pulled her from her reverie.

"Saras?" Theodore's voice was gentle, full of concern, as he appeared before her.

Startled, she looked around, realizing they were alone. She let out a soft sigh, trying to mask her emotions with a weak smile. "What happened?" Theodore asked, his eyes filled with genuine worry.

"I'm fine, Theo," she replied, wiping away the tear. "I was just thinking about my family. It's been one year and six months since I last saw them."

Theodore moved closer, sitting down in front of her, ignoring the risk to his own image. "Relax, Saras. No one's here, that's why I came. You don't have to worry about anything. I promise, I'll never let any harm come to you."

"It's not that, Theo," Saraswati said, shaking her head. "I don't want people gossiping about us. I'll leave one day, but you—this is your country. You're a role model for so many. A man like you needs to maintain a solid, clean reputation."

Theodore smiled, touched by her concern. People wanted to around him to get in his good books , get profit and favors but here she was caring for her reputation. Few had ever cared about his reputation, but Saraswati's words made him realize the impact of her simple sincerity. He was always known for his discipline, brilliance, and tenacity, but hearing her speak like this made him feel something deeper.

Apart of it his mind spinned to her words of leaving!

I will never allow you to leave me Petal. I want you by my side all our lives till our bones turn into ashes and our souls entwined with each other after that.

"Are you even listening to me, Theo?" Saraswati asked, noticing his far-off expression.

"Hmm? Oh, yes, Saras. I appreciate your concern," he said, shaking off his thoughts. "But why are you here today? Not that I mind, of course, but what brings you here?"

Saraswati looked at him with a small smile. "I received an offer from Professor Jemil for a new thesis project. I was happy and needed some fresh air, so I came here to clear my head."

"That's fantastic news! You deserve a reward for your hard work."

Saraswati blushed slightly, her admiration for him evident in her eyes. "I already got my reward, Theo. Having you as a friend is more than enough." he was happy to see his effect on her cheeks
