I made some changes different from what was shown in the show to fit in the context of how I think should have been done from the beginning.

Ishaan opened his eyes and immediately closed them back. His head hurt and eyes ached with sudden brightness. At first, he felt numbness and then slowly his senses came back to him. He felt dull ache on his left shoulder and his whole body pained. He groaned. A hand squeezed his. Ishaan smiled, "Savi...." Ishaan felt the hold on his hand loosen slightly. Ishaan felt his throat burn, he let out, "water...Savi, give me water." Ishaan felt the person get up. And soon enough a straw was placed against his mouth. Ishaan drank the water greedily, quenching his thirst and relieving his dry throat. Ishaan finally blinked and opened his eyes. He expected Savi to be before him. But it was not Savi. His smile fell off.

Reeva. It was Reeva who was beside him. Still in her wedding clothes. She was looking beyond tired and exhausted. She smiled at him. Ishaan found the smile strained and forced. Ishaan was immediately reminded of the events which landed him in the hospital. His wedding with Reeva crashed by Bhavar Patil and then his fight with him, saving Savi from marrying him, and then his confession, and finally a gunshot. His eyes widened. Oh god! "Reeva, is Savi okay? Where is she? She is not hurt, is she? Please tell me."

Reeva sat back on the stool she was occupying. Reeva told Ishaan, "Savi is perfectly fine. And everyone else too. After you were shot, Savi snatched the gun out of Bhavar's hand and almost shot him but police came and stopped Savi. All the goons and Bhavar were arrested." Ishaan sighed and smiled proudly, "that's what only Savi can do." Ishaan noticed Reeva's pained smile and how she looked down. Ishaan felt a wave of guilt wash over him. He tried to sit up but immediately felt a jolt of sharp pain, moaning, "ahh!" Reeva stood up and helped him lie down, scolding, "Ishaan! Be careful!" Ishaan held her hand, his eyes full of guilt, "Reeva, I am sorry. I am so so sorry." Reeva stood straight and looked out of the window. She couldn't face Ishaan. Or else she would cry. Ishaan tugged at her hand, "I never wanted to break your heart. I- I don't know when I started falling for Savi. I just....I just know one thing that whatever happened nothing is your fault, Reeva. I am to be blamed. You didn't deserve this. Please, I am extremely sorry. And I know however times I apologise to you it's never enough --"

"Ishaan!" Reeva cut him off and snatched her hand out of Ishaan's hold. Reeva, who tried so hard to not cry, teared up, " why? Why would you do this to me? Why?" Ishaan felt his heart break for Reeva, "Reeva....I am sorry." Reeva screamed, throwing her hands in the air, "stop! Don't you dare say sorry! If you ever felt anything for me, you would have told me that you loved Savi and not me! You betrayed me, Ishaan! You hurt me so much!" Ishaan sat up, hissing in pain. But he ignored it, "Reeva I wanted to tell you. Even, I almost told you in the dressing room but Akka Saheb made me swore on her life to never tell you that! I was helpless!" Reeva shook her head, sobbing, "still, you could have refused to marry me." Ishaan smiled bitterly, "how could I? You were so happy and eager to marry me. I knew I could never get Savi so I thought atleast I can make you happy by fulfilling my promise to marry you."

Reeva stared at Ishaan like he grew two heads, "you were going to put me in a loveless marriage, Ishaan! Are you even hearing yourself!" Ishaan pursed his lips, "Reeva, I know I was wrong. But you were very hellbent on marrying me." Reeva accused, "so, this is my fault now?" Ishaan sighed in frustration, "Reeva, please! I am not saying that. Everything was so complicated back then. Even, I never planned to confess my feelings for Savi. But on the verge of losing her, I just couldn't hold it in anymore." Reeva fell down on the floor, "Ishaan! Oh, Ishaan! What was my fault in all of this? I love you so much! Was it wrong to love you?" Ishaan frowned in anguish, "Reeva, nothing was your fault. It's my fault. I couldn't return your love. I could only see you as my best friend. Please, don't blame yourself. Blame me, Reeva. Punish me. I accept anything you decide."
