Ishaan was staring out of the window. Savi sat beside him, holding his hand. Savi sighed. After crying his pain and anguish, Ishaan went into complete silence. Savi tried speaking to him but except for one or two-word answers, he said nothing. Savi was growing worried for Ishaan. She rubbed smooth circles on the inside of his wrist. The door of the room opened and Harini came, behind her was Chinmay. Savi got up, her hand slipping from Ishaan's. And that got his attention. He reached out to Savi, alarmed, "Savi! Don't go! Don't leave me!" Harini, Chinmay, and Savi were startled. Savi immediately sat beside Ishaan and held his face, "Ishaan Sir, I am not going anywhere. Tai brought clothes for me. I was going to bathe and change. I can't be in this wedding attire forever." Ishaan sighed and glared at the dress Savi was in. He recalled how Bhawar Patil threatened Savi at gunpoint to wear this dress and marry him.

"Now, be a good boy and be with Chinmay Dada until I come back," Savi said while smoothing the frown on Ishaan's forehead. Ishaan nodded with a small smile. Savi smiled and got up. Harini before leaving with Savi asked Ishaan, "How are you now feeling, Ishaan Sir?" Ishaan smiled at Harini, "I am feeling better, Hariniji." Harini nodded.

Chinmay sat on the stool and patted Ishaan's thigh, "so, ladkeya, done scaring your brother?" Ishaan hissed and whined, "Dada! Stop! It hurts! Why is everyone forgetting I am a patient?!" Chinmay chuckled, "And why did you forget that you are a human and not some superhero? Why did you jump before a bullet? Did you even think what we all would feel if anything happened to you?" Ishaan looked down, "I was beyond angry and scared, Dada. I had to stop Bhavar Patil before anyone got hurt. I am sorry. I didn't want to trouble or scare you and everyone." Chinmay sighed, "I understand you, Ishaan. And I am proud of you. You were so brave and fearless. But I was so scared when you were shot and bleeding." Ishaan held his brother's hand, "Dada, nothing would have happened to me when you, Savi, Baba, Kaka saheb and Akka Saheb--" Ishaan swallowed his words, pain and heartbreak etched on his face.

Chinmay squeezed Ishaan's hand, "Ladkeya.... Don't blame yourself." Ishaan shook his head, speaking over the lump in his throat, "No, Dada. How can I not? Everything happened because of me. They..." Ishaan sniffed, "T-They did that because of their love for me. I am the reason for their actions." Chinmay spoke, voice firm, "no, Ishaan. They did what they did because of their perspective of Savi and their hate for her. They never accepted her. And it has nothing to do with you." Ishaan let out a pained laugh, "You are wrong, Dada. They wanted to remove her from my life. They didn't want her to be with me. They couldn't tolerate that I cared for her. Everything revolved around me."

Before Chinmay could speak the door burst open. Ishaan and Chinmay were startled. Surekha and Yashwant rushed inside and to Ishaan's side. Chinmay stood up in surprise. Ishaan immediately looked away. Surekha cried, "Ishaan!" Yashwant called out softly, "Ishaan..." Ishaan swallowed a sob and refused to acknowledge the two. Surekha sat on the bed, hands reaching out to Ishaan. Before she could touch him, Ishaan screamed, "No! Don't touch me! Why are you here?! I don't want to see or speak to you!!" Surekha flinched back, shocked. Yashwant was speechless, "Ishaan, try to understand --" Ishaan glared at him, cutting off, "Did you ever try to understand me and my feelings?!" Surekha sobbed, "we did, bada!" Ishaan fixed his glare on Surekha, "No! If you did, you wouldn't hurt Savi so much! You hate her. And in your hate, you were hurting me along with her!" Surekha shook her head, sobbing. Yashwant took a step closer, pacifying, "Ishaan, we did that because we thought Savi was wrong and was not right for you." Ishaan scowled, "She was never wrong. I was wrong to believe you over her!" Yashwant and Surekha exchanged looks and finally said, "We are sorry, Ishaan. Please forgive us." Ishaan sneered, "I am not forgiving you. You should apologise to Savi and not me. Go, please, I don't want to see your faces!"

Surekha and Yashwant stared at Ishaan who looked away. Surekha sobbed, looking down. Yashwant turned around, holding his head. Chinmay spoke up in the tense silence, "Ishaan--" "Dada, please take them out. I am feeling suffocated." Yashwant held Surekha and tugged her out of the room. Surekha screamed out on her way out, "Ishaan! Ishaan bada!!" Ishaan finally broke down and cried. Chinmay hugged him and let him cry.

Isha and Shantanu ran into Surekha and Yashwant coming out of Ishaan's room. Isha glared at the two before going inside. Shantanu stayed back and sighed, "Rao Saheb, Vahini, please go home and rest. Give all of us time and peace." Yashwant watched Shantanu leave with a glare. Yashwant held Surekha, "Surekha, let's leave." Surekha protested, "But, Saheb--" "Shantanu is right about giving Ishaan time. We will come later. For now, let's go. You need rest too." Surekha nodded. And the two finally left.

Isha halted on the threshold of the room, startled to find Ishaan crying. She immediately ran to his side, "Ishu!!" She put the bag on the couch and reached out to Ishaan. Ishaan buried his face more into Chinmay's neck, "Please, go. I don't want to deal with anyone anymore. Leave me alone." Isha teared up, unable to see her son so broken. Shantanu frowned upon seeing Ishaan crying, "Ishaan? Bada? What happened? Are you in pain? Shall I call the doctor?" Ishaan looked up as Shantanu stood before him. Ishaan cried, "Baba!" Chinmay stepped aside and Shantanu engulfed Ishaan in a tight embrace. Shantanu held his son, "Don't cry, Ishaan. I am here. I will make everything better. You are not alone. You have me and your Aai." Ishaan nodded and continued crying. Shantanu nodded at Isha to join the two. Isha smiled tearfully and joined the hug. Thankfully, Ishaan didn't pull back. She caressed his head and placed a kiss.

Savi came back with Harini, changed into a salwar suit. She smiled at the scene before her. Shantanu Sir, Isha Ma'am, and Ishaan Sir, hugging each other. Harini nodded at Chinmay. Chinmay patted Savi's head and Savi smiled at him, "how are you, Dada? And Shikha ma'am?" Chinmay smiled, "we are fine, Savi. How are you? Did you eat anything or not?" Savi gestured at Harini, "Tai brought food and made me eat. Don't worry about me." Chinmay nodded. The doctor and nurse came. Shantanu and Isha pulled back and let the doctor examine Ishaan. The nurse checked his ECG, pulse, and BP. The doctor examined the observations and nodded. Checking Ishaan's wound, he said, "You are recovering well, Mr Ishaan. Your wound is healing just fine. Your vitals are good. Seeing all these, I think you can be discharged tomorrow. Take care and rest. Eat good food and medicine on time." Everyone thanked the doctor and nurse as they left.

Savi smiled at Isha, "Ma'am, you brought food. Why don't you feed Ishaan Sir?" Isha gauged Ishaan's reaction. Isha nodded and sat before Ishaan who did not fight the decision. Shantanu sat up the table and sat beside Isha. Isha opened the boxes. Everything was Ishaan's favourite. Isha smiled, "Ishu, I made your favourite." Ishaan softly said, "You still remember..." Isha brought a morsel to Ishaan's mouth and smiled, "I can never forget anything about my son. Now open your mouth. Aah?" Ishaan was surprised and hesitated. Savi, Harini, Chinmay, and Shantanu laughed. Ishaan finally opened his mouth and Isha fed him, her heart swelling. Ishaan ate a heartfelt meal fed by his parents. Savi clicked pictures of the three sneakily. Ishaan, unnoticed, tried to hide how emotional he got with the meal and his parents' gestures and love for him. Shantanu smiled and patted Ishaan's head, "Ishaan get well soon, bada." Ishaan's eyes teared up and he hugged Shantanu.

Chinmay spoke up, smiling, "Kaka, should I get your room cleaned up? You are coming with Kaku to our home?" Before Shantanu could reply Ishaan spoke up, "I am not going there." Everyone stared at Ishaan and understood why he said so. It was Chinmay who said, "And where will you go if not your home, ladkeya?" Ishaan looked away, "that's not my home anymore. I will stay with Savi." Savi smiled, "Ishaan Sir, I will be more than happy to have you but our house is very small and uncomfortable." Ishaan frowned, "I don't care!" Isha smiled and caressed his head, "How about you come to live with your Baba and me in our old house?" Ishaan stared at Isha. Everyone held their breath. Ishaan nodded making everyone breathe in relief, "Okay....." Isha smiled lovingly, "thank you, Ishu."
