Task Force

At the Hospital

Some of the members of the Task Force along with Tori's parents and Trina were at the hospital including Deeks and Rountree along with Andre who were all given a clean health bill by the doctors attending to them. They were waiting for the status of Tori who was in surgery.  Admiral Kilbride came into the waiting room and asked, "Any updates?" Kate said, "Nothing yet sir," Jade said, "It should have been me," Jane said, "What are the chances that she would say the same thing you were on the operating table and she was next to me?" Jade thought about it a little bit and later said, "Pretty Good, She's always cared about me in high school even though I made her life hell," Kate said, "And she still cares about you. She took a bullet for you and despite her wound, she shot and killed a guy who was about to shoot you,"

Hours had passed with no updates and then the doctor went over to the team and Kilbride said, "Any news Doc?" The Doctor said, "She should be fine. There was no major damage however, we will keep her here for a day or two to be on the safe side," Kilbride said, "Good to hear," Mrs. Vega said, "Can we see her?" The Doctor said, "Not Today, we're going to let her rest for the day," 

The next day, Deeks, Rountree, Andre, Jade, Trina and Tori's parents were in the waiting room joined by Trina's husband and her kids when Jade decided walk to go to Tori's room to see how she was doing. Then after a minute of watching her, Tori woke up and looked around the room and saw Jade enter the room and she asked her, "What Happened?" Jade said, "You got shot saving me, twice," Tori said, "No wonder my right side hurts. When can I be out?" Jade said, "In a day or two, Do you want me to get your parents and Andre here?" Tori said, "Not yet, I feel like I owe you an apology. I should not have canceled the date on you, I'm sorry," 

Jade said, "That's OK, you had your reasons. I'm guessing that you felt bad after spraining Andre's hand and you probably thought I treated you like a sexual plaything. OK maybe I did a little bit but I do love you, Victoria Vega," as she stroked Tori's right cheek.  "However,  I like to do you in uniform while I'm in uniform before I leave the Sheriff's Department," Tori said, "Horny much?" Jade said, "One time, I did a fellow deputy on my CO's Desk and I don't regret it even though he busted us and reprimanded me for it," Tori said, "Did he transfer you and your lover?" Jade said, "No, though she did transfer after the relationship went sour," 

Tori said, "Is she still with the department?" Jade said, "She is and no she wasn't a part of the Taxi Service though I wish she were so I could have shot her," Tori said, "Do I have to stop you?" Jade said, "Don't worry I won't go after her unless she is crooked," Tori said, "Also, you do know me and Andre are boyfriend and girlfriend now?" Jade said, "Well, the threesome is still on the table if you're interested," Tori said, "I'll keep that in mind,"

Andre walked to Tori's room and got Tori's parents to come to the room. Andre said, "Hey Baby, How are you doing?" Tori said, "I got shot, how do you think I am?" Andre said, "I'm glad you are OK," Tori said, "Speaking of which, How are you, Rountree, and Deeks doing?" Andre said, "We're doing OK, we got rough up a bit after we were ambushed and kidnapped but thanks to Jade going all Denzel, we're alive," 

Tori said, "What about Parker?" Jade said, "Let's just say, he made a mistake crossing me, crossing us really," Tori said, "I'm guessing he's dead," Jade said, "Along with most of the bad guys though the California Golden Taxi Service was a part of the problem and Kilbride will start an investigation on Camp Pendleton to root out the crooked Marines. At least the taxi service will be closed down at least for another decade," 

Tori said, "What's the next step?" Jade said, "For you, right now you need to rest. Don't worry about it until you're one hundred perfect and that's an order," Tori said, "I outrank you, Lieutenant," Jade said, "I'm sure Crowley and Kilbride will say the same thing I said and they outrank you," 

Tori's parents came into the room. Mr. Vega said, "Sorry we took so long," Mrs. Vega said, "We were talking to the doctor," Jade said, "I'll let you guys be alone," as she started to leave. Tori said, "Thanks for being there for me, Jade," Jade said, "Anytime though don't make it a habit," Tori said, "I won't" and Jade left the room and went back to the waiting room and saw Sam and Callen there.

Sam said, "How's Captain doing?" Jade said, "She'll be fine she's with Andre and her parents," Sam said, "Good to hear," Callen said, "Did you know about Sean's brother Brian?" Jade said, "Sean did talk about him several times. I know the Corp can crackdown on the drugs hard. Sometimes a little too hard though I don't think it was just because of his brother. I'm sure he had other reasons why he did what he did,"  Callen said, "Maybe it was the money," Jade said, "Possibly but he didn't care about money that much, he lived humbly," Sam said, "Whatever the reason, he went bad and paid dearly for it," Callen said, "Any chance you or Tori would join us in NCIS?" Jade said, "As tempting as that sounds I'm done with law enforcement and unsure about Tori though I'm sure she doesn't want to get shot again. Plus she likes LA," 

Callen said, "The offer will still be on the table," Sam said, "Is she up for visitors?" Jade said, "She's with Andre and her parents now," Callen said, "We can wait," 

Tori was in the hospital for two days before she was released and Jade wheeled her out of the hospital with her parents with Andre, Callen, and Sam joining them. Tori said, "Honestly, I'm not sure I want Jade wheeling me out of the hospital," Jade said, "Don't worry Tori, I won't push you off your wheelchair. This isn't high school and we're with four people who would shoot me if I did. I'm sure Andre would do something bad to me if I did," and they took Tori home.
