"So, what now? We revived your sister." Dave asked Squeedo. "Now, we chill. I think that was the last of our bucket list of one goal." Said the rat. "Wait, that's it? We're done? That's anticlimactic." Said Hyda, then she looked down ," I really thought that this journey would be more chaotic and fun, it was a damn scam." She continued.
"Anticlimactic? You made me eat an arm! A HUMAN ARM!" Dave said angrily. "Ow, cheer up. It's just a lump of meat, Davey my dear." She teased him. Squeedo kept staring at the prism that was on the ground, he was paralyzed with happiness. "She told us to go to Songlovia and then became completely silent. Reminds me of the good old days when she kept giving every scientist unreasonable orders and refused to answer why. Eventually she was fired from lab work and sent to war with me stuck inside her head, which was torture, but who cares! Right?" Said Squeedo, He was either nostalgic or terrified of his past, maybe both.
"That's right!" Hyda screamed as she pointed to the air ," We go to Songlovia just as planned!" She continued. "Why?" Dave and Squeedo asked at the same time. She kept looking around the apartment, frantically searching for a reason to go to Songlovia.
" I don't know, Nora said it's important, right? So there must a reason here, right? We have to go there, right? hahahahaha." She started laughing hysterically, then stopped searching, and sat down on the floor. " If I don't find a reason to go there, consider it a date along with two third wheels or something." She said. "With you? Nah I'm good. You just want escape." Dave said.
"I need something to do..." She said, staring at the apartment floor, acting jittery, which was way too dirty. Dave looked at her with pity. Stop being so damn dramatic.
Her eyes started to look dead. Her expression changed into a smile, a real smile, and she got up. "There's a file here. I know that there's a file here. That file is the reason we must not stop our journey to Songlovia." She said. "What file?" Dave asked. "Don't worry, a strong wind will blow and you'll see it fall. I know because Shelby already ran this simulation." She said. At this point, both Dave and Squeedo were confused, they really thought that she didn't know who Shelby was, and just knew his name, it was like she was a completely different person. "My time's running out, you have to go to Songlovia, unlike last time... I'll lose control in 3...2...1" She said as she returned to the position in which her eyes started to look dead. Then her eyes started to shine again. "Dammit, there has to be something here!" Hyda said as she kept searching for a reason to prolong her journey.
"Well, we're leaving. Bye." Dave and Squeedo left the apartment with the prism, they had heard enough. A strong wind blew into the place as they opened the door, it was way too strong to be a normal wind. It jerked a shelf, and a file dropped from under it. It labelled 'Eradication Prevention Project'. It looked like a tiny file but it had many other subsidiary files it inside. Hyda noticed the file. Dave and Squeedo looked at her with concern.
"BINGO, BITCH!" She grabbed the file. The files inside had weird names like 'Lilith', 'salaputtium' and 'Eve's cycle'.
Jeff and Numy came back to the hospital room Lisa was in. " Okay, how do I say says this..." Jeff said as he basically stormed into the room and started walking fast inside it, he was definitely deep in thought, Numy walked in normally. "You're going back in the same direction we came." Said Numy. "What? Why? I can move my hand now, I promise you, I can. So please, let me go after that monster. I didn't even freeze like how I normally do when I confronted that worm!" Said Lisa, who was pale and still in bed. Jeff calmed down and stopped walking about and went straight to Lisa. " The transfusion cannon almost killed you, kid. Take a look at yourself in the mirror before you say anything like that. I care for my subordinates, y'know" He said. Looks who's talking, I killed my partners for a promotion just because I was devoid of any interesting stimulation. I just need you to leave as soon as possible.
