1. Rishi Kumar Rudrapriya : 29 years old. Only son the famous handloom industrialist of Odisha. But is an engineer making a life of his own . Stays in the capital of Odisha with his parents.A handsome dashing with his charm on girls. His friends always had crush on him. He loves a girl from a different region which his parents disapprove.
2. Urmila Mishra : 28 years old. Leaves in a joint family. Has a 1 year elder brother a scientist. She is a textile designer, passionate about textiles and working in upliftit. Very close to her cousins especially her elder sister in law. Her 3 best friends 2 from College and 1 from school.

1. Parents of Rishi ( Mr and Mrs Rudrapriya): Very loving people . Want a good girl for Rishi. Might not be ideal “bahu” but definitely should be an ideal person.
2. Girlfriend of Rishi: Somi, They have been in relationships from 3 years. Rishi loves her but his parents disagree with their relationship. So Somi dislikes Rishi’s parents.She is actually after Rishi because of the money.
3. Parents of Urmila : Very Spiritual, very good family with very know family. Believe in her and always support her. They are also rich but not as much as Rudrapriya's
4. Family of Urmila: A lot of doctors and scientists and professors. Urmi is the youngest in her generation, she has younger nephews and neice. They all love her dearly.
5. Urmi’s Friends: Suchi and Lavie from college and Subha from school. Best of friends.
