The final Decisions

**Setting:** R's family home (P family), the living room. Mr. and Mrs. P are seated, discussing their decision about U with R, who stands before them, visibly conflicted and upset.

**Mr. Pranav:* *(calmly)* "Rishi, we've discussed it thoroughly, and we believe it's best to bring Urmila home as our daughter-in-law, at least until we can figure out the next steps.
Beta warna tum toh jante ho kaisa hai ek ladki ko leke yeh society."

**Rishi:* *(shaking his head, frustrated)* "But mummy Papa... You know how I feel about Somi. Main yeh shaddi nhi accept kar sakta"

**Mrs. Puja:***(softly)* "We understand, Rishi. But this is a delicate situation, us ladki ke baremein toh socho, Urmila's family has a good reputation, and her father is respected in the community."

**Rishi:* *(agitated)* "It doesn't change the fact that this marriage was forced upon us! I can't pretend everything is fine."

**Mr. Pranav:***(firmly)* "We're not asking you to pretend, Rishi. We just want you to consider giving this marriage the minimum required time before seeking annulment. It's only fair to Urmila and her family.And agar kuch thik nhi raha toh we will end it.

**Rishi:*(frustrated)* "But what about my feelings? What about Somi?"

**Mrs. Puja:** *(sympathetically)* "Rishi, we know this is difficult for you. But sometimes, life throws us unexpected challenges. We have to face them with courage and maturity."

**Mr. Pranav:** *(compassionately)* "Listen, beta.Thoda yeh sab ko time do aur is time us ladki se dur raho toh better hai.I think you will understand. "

**Rishi:**(reluctantly)* "I don't agree with this, but... I understand your point. I'll do it for you both and for Urmila's family. But please understand, my heart is with Somi.Aur jis din yeh shaddi khatam usi din use shaddi karlunga mein."

**Mrs. Puja:** *(nodding understandingly)* "We know, Rishi. We appreciate your honesty. And we're here to support you through this."

**Mr. Pranav:** *(encouragingly)* "That's all we ask, Rishi. Let's take it one step at a time."

*(Rishi nods, resigned to his parents' decision. He knows he must honor their wishes while navigating the complexities of his own emotions. The room falls silent as they all come to terms with the path ahead.)*

At Urmila's house.

**Mr. Siddharth:** *(addressing R's parents, with a mix of concern and formality)* "Thank you for coming, Mr. and Mrs. Rudrapriya. We understand this is a difficult situation for everyone involved."

**Mrs. Puja:** *(nodding respectfully)* "Thank you for having us,Mishra ji. We appreciate your understanding."

**Ankit:** *(U's twin brother, speaking firmly)* "So, what's the plan now? Are you expecting U to just move in with you?"

**Mr. Pranav:** *(calmly)* "We believe it's best for Urmila to stay with us, at least until we can navigate the legal process for annulment."

**Mrs. Gauri:** *(U's mother, concerned)* "Kis Hak se rahegi humari beti wahan?"

**Mr. G:* *(nodding, his expression serious)* "Urmi, we trust you to handle this with maturity. But we also want to ensure your well-being."

**Mr. Pranav:** *(addressing U's family with a reassuring tone)* "We hope that with time, we can find a solution that works for everyone involved.Aur Urmi hamari bahu ke Hak se aur Kis Hak se. Aap uski chinta na kare. Jitne din tak woh wahan hai woh humari bahu hai.yahan jaisi thi wahan waisi hin rahegi."

**Mr. Siddharth:** *(nodding, his expression softening)* "Toh thik hai. Let's proceed cautiously and with respect for each other. Toh Kal ek subh maharaj dekh kar app ise lejana main apko bata dunga.

(And during all of this Rishi was numb from his feelings of his ex to this forced marriage. Somi and Urmila were just so different. And somewhere he could sense his parents liking for Urmi was more because of their disliking for Somi.)
