The outer region of Shanghai, evening time...

Three kids wandered the bustling streets of Shanghai, their eyes wide with wonder at the vibrant city around them. The crowd, the towering buildings, everything filled them with excitement. Each wore a different expression: one girl had a broad smile that lit up her face, another laughed joyously as she looked around, while the third had a blank expression, her sunglasses comically oversized for her small face. These three were Enghfa, Yoko, and Becky.

Spotting a nearby park, they ran, their laughter echoing through the streets. They joined the other children playing there, their happiness palpable. But soon, some kids began to bully Enghfa for her expensive clothes. Despite Yoko and Becky's efforts to intervene, the bullies were stronger.

"Hey!!" a voice shouted, catching everyone's attention.

"Ah, great, what's this weirdo's problem now? You want a good beating, L..." one of the boys sneered before pushing the short-haired girl, who hissed in pain as she hurt her hand. Enghfa continued to cry, her eyes fixed on the boys.

"Yah! Stop crying, it's so annoying," another boy said, shoving Enghfa. Fueled by anger, Enghfa tried to hit him, but he easily overpowered her and pushed her back. Seeing this, the short-haired girl charged at the boys, fighting them off. The boys retreated as she grabbed a stick, her eyes blazing with determination.

"Ahh! This freak's gone mad. Let's get out of here," they muttered, fleeing the scene.

The short-haired girl sighed and sat by a tree, examining the wound on her hand. Yoko approached her, offering a handkerchief. Becky stood by, her expression still blank, watching Enghfa cry.

"Ah, they left. Will you stop crying now?" Becky said. Enghfa paused for a moment but then resumed crying. Becky, frustrated, pulled her over to where Yoko was.

Becky sat beside the short-haired girl and poked at her wound as Yoko tied the cloth around it.

"Yah!!" the short-haired girl hissed, glaring at Becky. Enghfa, seeing her expression, burst into laughter. Becky, maintaining her blank look, poked the wound again, making the girl hiss once more.

"Yah! Becky, stop that," Yoko scolded, then turned to the girl and asked, "Why did they call you a weirdo?"

"Because I'm handsome," the girl replied with a grin.

"Handsome is for boys, not girls. Beautiful is for girls like me," Becky retorted, eyeing the girl.

"Beautiful for girls, but not for a dumpling-like you," the short-haired girl shot back, getting up and dusting off her pants.

Enghfa laughed loudly, and Becky glared at her.

Suddenly, dark clouds gathered, and the weather changed.

"Let's go. Wait, Becky, we forgot the route," Yoko said, looking around. They all realized they were lost just as it started to rain lightly.

"Oh god!" Enghfa exclaimed, shifting uncomfortably.

"What happened?" Becky asked, giving her a puzzled look.

"I need to go to the toilet," Enghfa said, panicking and jumping in place.

The short-haired girl offered to take them to her home, and they agreed, running through the rain. They laughed as they arrived, their clothes soaked.

"Faye..." the short-haired girl heard her mother's voice and quickly ushered her friends inside.

"Mom! See, my friends!" Faye said happily, rushing to her mother and asking her to bring something for them to eat. Faye's mother smiled and handed them some biscuits, which they accepted awkwardly.
