i spent most of the day on my phone, just wasting time and not doing anything productive
then i had, what people call, a moment of realisation.
on the day of judgement we won't only be asked about the sins we committed but also about the money we spent and the time we spent.
how we spend our money and time is really important and i think not many people pay attention to that.
right now i want to talk about time.
while i obviously understand that we aren't able to just read quran and pray the whole day or just learn islamic related things it's important to not waste most of the day just aimlessly scrolling through instagram/tiktok/youtube.
i want to write this to encourage us all to pay attention to what we spend our time on and remember that we will be asked about this time we spent.
when allah asks "why did you spend 10hrs on your phone when you didn't even spend 1hr reading quran" what will we say?
just a little something to think about and pay attention to.
