For the rest of the date, Ben and I just sat down by the picnic table, talking about anything that came across our minds and eating the finger foods he packed from the kitchen. Then, Ben walked me back to my dorm and leaned down to place a kiss on my forehead. When I opened the door, I was met with the sight of Mal, Evie, and Carlos just waiting for me to return from the date.

"So, how was the date?" Carlos surprisingly asked. "What? I'm a little curious and slightly protective of our friend, alright. Just let me be a part of girl talk once in my life." He said, noticing the states coming from the three of us. Quickly and unnoticed, I texted him that only he and Jay knew that Ben wasn't under the love spell.

For the rest of the night, the four of you talked about upcoming events, including Family Day, which was coming up in a week. "I already have the perfect design for your outfit," Evie said, pulling out her sketchbook and showing me a modest design in my signature color.

The next week, I really wasn't paying any attention in class due to the nerves of officially meeting Ben's parents as his girlfriend. However, something Fairy Godmother said in class got your attention, "Children, as you all know, this Sunday is Family Day here at Auradon Prep. And because your parents cannot be here due to, uh, distance, we've arranged for a special treat." she said while rolling out a TV stand. Not having a good feeling about this, I slowly snuck into the shadows away from view. Once the TV turned on, four out of the five parents showed up on screen. Noticing you almost disappeared, Fairy Godmother came to find you and told you to meet her in her office after class.

After class, you quickly went to her office before you could be stopped by anyone asking you questions regarding Family Day and the coronation. "Now, I know your father and sisters do not get along with the other parents, so we set up our own video call right now so you could see your sisters." Fairy Godmother explained, pulling up her laptop. Hallway through your video call, your sisters stopped talking mid-sentence and just looked at something or someone bashing you. "And who is this, Cher?" your father asked, spotting the man behind you.

Turning around, you were face to face with Ben, silently holding a conversation with your eyes about how to introduce him. Before you can open your mouth, Ben says, "Hi, I'm Prince Ben, her boyfriend." "Wait, wait, wait, Prince Ben? As in soon-to-be King Ben?" Freddie asked, remembering his name from island gossip. For the rest of the video chat, Ben stood behind me with his hands on my shoulders. "Well, that went well. Now we only need to survive Sunday and the coronation." Ben said, feeling the tension leave my shoulders. "Yeah, just two more events until we can relax and enjoy each other's presence without a camera being shoved in our faces," I said, standing up and burning my head into his chest. "I think I will go to my room and lie down for a while. It's been an interesting day so far." I told him, stepping out of his embrace. Nodding his head in understanding, Ben decided to walk you back himself so he knew that you had arrived at your dorm safely.

Once you closed the door, you received a text from Mal asking you to meet them in Jay and Carlos' dorm. Arriving quickly, you did the special knock the five of you created and were pulled into the room to see everyone huddled around Mal's drawing of the wand. "Okay, so we all know what this looks like. So it'll be up on the dais under the beast's spell jar, and we'll be coming in from here. Sarah will be in the very front. The rest of us are on the balcony. Okay, Carlos, " Mal explained, looking at Carlos for the second part of the plan.

"Okay, so I'll find our limo so we can break the barrier and get back on the island with the wand." He explained. "Perfect, Evie? You will use this to take out the driver." Mal said, holding out what looked like blue perfume. "Two sprays and he will be out like a light," Mal explained, ensuring Evie was paying attention.

"M, are you really looking up how to break Ben's love spell?" Evie asked after realizing what page her spell book was open to. "You know, for after. I've just been thinking, when the villains invade Auradon and begin to loot and kick everyone out of their castle and imprison their leaders and destroy all that is good and beautiful, Ben still being in love with y/n just seems a little extra... cruel." Mal explained, thinking about how she could spare both of our feelings in the king run. "Hey, M, do you think that Jay, me, and Carlos can do the anti-love spell while you and Evie start making sure there are no holes in our plan?" I asked, hearing about the spell. Receiving a curry nod from her, I grabbed her spell book and went to the kitchen with the boys following behind me.

"Hey, why are you making this spell if the three of us know that he isn't spelled in the first place?" Jay asked, curious about what was happening. "So, basically, I'm just going to make a cupcake and let Mal think that it is the anti-love spell."
