"Now remember my sons, this is to perfect our stealth techniques. Not just because it would be extremely funny..."
The two brothers had not been whispering long before Master Splinter saw them, and now there were three! Donatello snickered a bit before a sudden thought hit him."Wait- Mikey is a trained ninja just like the rest of us, and he has some pretty keen intuition... won't he see right through this?"
As Donnie brought up this point, the most girly screech that had ever been screeched, screeched! Mikey held onto his cat as he yelped.
"Did you see that? There was an orb! And i totally felt a chill go down my shell, and it wasn't just cause of the double chocolate chunk ice cream i swiped from Raphie!""On that numb-skull?"
Raph popped his knuckles, anticipation pumping through him, thicker than blood. He smiled.
"Yeah, it'll work.."•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•.•
My beanbag was the comfiest seat alive, Klunk and I totally had the best seats in the house to watch the season finale of my favorite show this week!
Ghost-Trackers was the best show for all your spooky scary needs. Every anomaly snatched the praises out of my mouth with a scream of terror! But I was quiet about it- cause I didn't wanna draw the attention of my Father who was still around the lair."Miiiikeeyyyy"
The bright sights from the television disappeared from my vision, as I turned to see who called out for me. All I could see was the motionless darkness I was so used to, but it still made an eerie feeling run through me. The feeling I get when I'm being watched. I don't like it.
But no one is here! My brothers already went out and Master Splinter only ever calls me Michelangelo or son, or- whatever...All i see is tunnels of bricks leading to my father's room. The elevator is there with the ladder above it, I can even turn my head in the right way to see the pool of water behind me in the middle of the lair that has that bridge running over it. And all of it is drenched in pure darkness, like I had sketched a picture of the lair and spilled a bucket of ink all over it.
"Uhh... Hello?"
I tried to call out to the voice. The one that had echoed and trilled, but was still deep enough to intimidate me, I hate to admit...
And of course, no one answered.
Because no one was there.
But I knew that.I already knew that..
"Ughh- total sigh dude! This show is getting to me! Aha... I just need to get some water, tell me what I miss."
Klunk's fur was soft as angora when I pet his little head, and his purring made me feel more at ease.I walked into the kitchen, it would be harder to see if I wasn't a turtle. Those guys can see better in the dark cause of water and stuff right? I'll have to pick up and book later and check.. or maybe not, that sounds like too much time I could be using to read up on Silver Sentry! Or even spend time with the actual Silver Sentry!
I couldn't help but smile, even if I tried to frown I don't think I would be able to! Silver Sentry was so awesome! I-
"Mikeeeyyy.."
I jumped out of my scales! Jeez! All around the kitchen there were only tables and chairs, only barrels and cabinets and a fridge... I felt myself being watched but no one was there! My lungs filled like a balloon about to burst, but deep breaths did not help.
"It's all in your head dude- this is just mmnn haha.."
I couldn't help but mumble and giggle to myself as I burst into the bathroom, as it was beyond the kitchen. Thankfully.
I shut and locked the door, the squeaky knobs of the sink made me shiver as I turned on the faucet.I thought I could maybe get some Clarity If I splashed my face with some cold water.
But instead I heard a creaking, gravely voice burn the back of neck.
"Michelangelo.""Eep!"
My head shot up, and just for a second I saw something behind me in the mirror. It looked like a Suji bachi kabuto, its body and would-be limbs all pulled in flowing robes. All of this was delineated white in color, except for the thin and angry amber eyes that glowed inside the black sockets of the helmet.
Yet the figure disappeared in the blink of an eye."What?!"
I felt my knees buckle, like I was about to tumble Over. I couldn't tell the difference between the frigid water and the cold sweat running down my face. There was definitely something spooky going on, I was not going crazy!I unlocked the door and ran out. I rushed up stairs by ladder and almost fell down due to sweaty paws before making it to my room. Gosh, I wish I had a door. All I had for privacy was some beads and a banner hung up in the doorway- doors for sewer tunnels were hard to find! What can I say?
"Phew. No phantom can catch up with me- not even the spirit of Zippy Lad! Even on wheels, he's the fastest dude alive..."
Hmm, what could I use to fight a ghost around here? I looked around. The net of my wall hoop? Nah, they like- go through stuff.Drumset, arcade machine, comics... nope! I'm so under prepared! Wait- I got it!
I grabbed a vacuum machine I never used nor gave back because I forgot, and went to go catch the spirits of the damned! And duct-tape can be used for everything! Even taping vacuum cleaners to turtle shells..
"I mean- this is how they do it in the movies! And uh.. cats can see ghosts! Ohhh Klunk! C'mere boy!"I also grabbed my super awesome rocket powered skateboard cause- it's super cool and fast! Nyoom! I grabbed my cute kitty and we were off to catch some spectacular spectral anomalies!
Klunk and me were roaming around, looking for ghosties. It was hard, cause i heard voices and saw that samurai looking ghoul, but I just couldn't catch it. It always was disappearing into the shadows at the last second and appearing right behind and beside and wherever else near me!
"Miii-"
"Gotcha!"
I aimed the vacuum hose at the apparition,
and..
"Huh...?"The vacuum sucked up a bunch of white sheets and I heard laughter ring throughout my skull.
If I had ears, they would totally be turning red.
