"Hello? This is April."
April O'Neil leaned against her kitchen counter, twirling the curly cord of her land-line Telephone.
"April! Hate to bother you, but could you tell us if you see Mikey around? He ran off and we can't find him. We're real worried.."

"Donatello? Hey, wait! Michelangelo is over at my apartment right now. I think he's asleep,
poor kid... he looked so tired. What's going on?"
April's posture became more stiff, and she stood up straight.
"Well we don't really know for certain. Raph agrees with Master Splinter that he's been possessed by the Shredder- uh.. at-least partly."
As Donatello spoke, April's heart-rate spiked. She usually wouldn't be so superstitious, it wasn't in her nature, she used to be a scientist after all! But after the types of adventures she had been on with these turtles? It didn't sound impossible at all.

"Shredder- Michelangelo is The Shredder and I let him in my apartment!?"
She let out a hushed whisper, staring at the doorway between the kitchen and the room where Michelangelo was.
"Calm down! He's still Mikey- most of the time.. and he's really after Sensei, not you. But anyway, you say he's asleep at your place? That's perfect!"

April hummed and peered into her living room.
"We may have a small problem... he's not here anymore."
The concern in her voice was evident over the phone. Donatello huffed.
"Well, be on the lookout. Me and the guys will start looking for him near your apartment, thanks April."
"No problem.. good luck finding him."

When I awoke, I was in an actual house it seemed. That alone surprised me. A half familiar sound of a woman talking in the other room did not distract me for long, as I crept out of the place and ran out into the night of the city. The stars seemed dull yet the night was bright ahead of me. I couldn't help but smile.
I could feel it.

My enemies drew themselves closer to me. Fools, They truly are mere rats in a trap, drawn by their noses to poison. How fitting, considering their form. Atleast for one of them... and he is my truest enemy- despite my wish to slay all Hamato blood and their allies...

I land myself on the rooftops for maximum perception, and then I am off. I favor far better weapons than these lousy sticks, I drop them off the edge off the roof and hear them splinter and break. I need blades, blades of really any kind would do! But I just happen to know the most darling little museum to rob for weapons that truly fit my caliber of attack.

It's really not that far, all those antique shops and museums are close together. I slipped inside and grabbed a tachi sword from behind the glass case. The perfect blade for combat, and it perfectly symbolized my authority and strength, my ultimate and unending power. I smiled, it felt odd to grin with a smaller mouth than i was used to, small flat and crooked teeth instead of the sharp ones I had been used to as an Utrom. But I smiled nonetheless.

That's when I felt it- the presence of something behind me. I pretended not to notice, and turned around at the last moment. My tachi connected with a hastily drawn katana, a metallic clang echoing throughout the vast museum space.
"Leonardo.. And I wouldn't be wrong to suspect that you brought along your other side pests?"

Leonardo grimaced as soon as I spoke. I could only imagine how it was to experience your greatest enemy having the eyes and voice of your own brother. I wouldn't know- I never saw any of the Utrom as my brothers.
One good thing about this body? It's very agile, and it's very fast.

As our blades trembles while collided together, i flipped backwards, and Leonardo pulled out his second katana before I jumped forwards with just as much velocity. He held his swords together to block a perceived strike, yet I simply kicked his feet out from under him. He fell down onto his back.

I jumped backwards as two of his allies seemed to finally arrive, and through the glass roof! Not very furtive of a... 'fellow' ninja. Glass rained down from the sky in front of me as I watched Donatello berate his red counterpart.
"Raphael, I told you I could get us in through the window silently!"
"And I told you I could get us in quickly! Numbskull."

Three against me? They are sorely outmatched.
Leonardo got up, and they all stood before me, weapons unsheathed. No sign of their rat master... I suppose I would have to deal with him after cutting down his subordinates.

I lashed out my blade and they all backed away and split up, coming at me from all sides in a violent blur. And I was more than willing to join in on the battle and destroy them from the face of the universe. Donatello had aimed for my head with his bo-staff, and I ducked down and sliced upwards a multitude of times in quick succession, cutting his weapon into useless chunks of kindling before kicking the miserable mutant away from myself.

Leonardo rammed forwards and caused me to stumble into Raphael, who locked my arms behind himself. I growled and used all of my weight and strength to push myself up into the air, my painful aerial stand made the turtle holding me get slammed into to floor with a groan. Yet it caused me to lose my own weapon under his unconscious or deceased body in the process. Damn...

I couldn't really get to my tachi, because Leonardo flew forwards in a leap and I had to sidestep out of the way to avoid getting Diced. I looked around the place and saw a staircase, and decided to back away while dodging, leading the battle upwards. Leonardo kept slicing for me, and I suddenly kicked him in the chest, off the stairs.

He let out a winded yell as he fell, and I jumped down and gracefully landed next to him. I picked up his discarded Katanas that had skidded across the floor, and approached the turtle. I suppose I could give him an honorable death... and behead him here and now!

Yet as I raised the blade, my blood ran cold. Not out of cowardice, but because of a voice behind me. The ice soon melted and turned into pure magma and flame.

"Shredder!"
