Michelangelo's body was carried off towards the abandoned T.C.R.I building. The utroms had left the Techno Cosmic Research Institute after the whole transmat fiasco, finally having the equipment to leave Earth and return to their original planet.

Shredder groaned as Silver Sentry held him down onto the table of a machine Mortu had instructed him to.
"Let go of me-! You can't do this to me!"
Leonardo felt disgusted. Their nemesis had invaded their brother's body. It felt so odd to hear the words Shredder would say come out the mouth of his brother- his silly happy little brother who never talked about anything that was actually serious...

Not to mention the fact that Michelangelo's body had been used as a weapon- and he completely wiped he and his brothers out in the first half of their battle.. it wasn't fair! Leonardo had just been getting over his conflicting feelings. Getting over that he couldn't beat The Shredder, but there was nothing he could do... it wasn't his fault. And it was ok, because The Shredder was gone!

Until now. In his own home, his own blood... it made him sick to his stomach. And even now there was nothing he could have done to save his brothers.. he wouldn't have been able to save Michelangelo. He would have been doomed if Silver Sentry were a second later or hadn't been out that night!

Leonardo tried to calm himself by remembering the teachings he had learned from The Ancient One... but he could only feel fear and doubt rise up again. He could only hope it disappeared, or at least dulled soon. Leonardo may have changed, but his concern for his brothers never would.

Mortu had strapped The Shredder down, who seemed to be having a total freakout, on the facts that he would be dead- no coming back this time. And he wasn't happy about that, especially without ending his vendetta.

"Using our old technologies still here, we can dispel Ch'rell from your friend's body here.."
Mortu started hooking up a bunch of wires. Donatello suddenly felt a sickness twist in his heart.
"But um- just hypothetically! What if it doesn't work? And Shredder can't be taken out of Mikey?"

Mortu turned to Donatello, he was eerily silent, having to think for a moment.
"Well, Ch'rell is too dangerous to take the risk, if this sort of medical exorcism doesn't work... I'm afraid we would have to eliminate the possibility of any issue."

The words made everyone in the room tense up a bit, besides the utrom, who kept on setting up what he needed to while the Shredder writhed like the demon he was. Donatello felt like his throat was closing up, maybe he was gaining an allergic reaction to all this bad news.

"Y-you mean you would have to..?"
Donatello couldn't bring himself to complete his sentence, but he didn't have to. Everyone knew what would have to happen. The Shredder was a dangerous entity. But Michelangelo didn't deserve to die for the sins of Ch'rell!

But if all went well, he wouldn't have to.

They could only pray that it did...

Raph growled under his breath and crossed his arms. Like hell he would let someone kill his brother! maybe they could just- lock him up half the time or something... yeah... whatever, this thing better work.

Mortu finished setting up all the wires and hooked them up to a back.up generator. The room lit up, flashy and highly advanced alien machinery being revealed.

The machine Mortu was working consisted of a large black metal globe that hung from the ceiling. It had many colorful hole in it that gave it the appearance of a disco ball. Silver Sentry snorted a bit.
"Is he going to dance the demon out?"

Mortu gave a deadly serious shake of the head, and it made it harder for the super hero to not burst out into laughter. But he was able to contain himself with a deep breath, and reminding himself of the seriousness of the situation at hand.

Michelangelo's body was hooked up to a bunch of things for scientific purposes, so his body could evict Ch'rell!

Mortu put something around his head. And pressed a button, the lights of the machine started to glow. And Shredder stopped screaming, but his writhing only worsened. He looked like he couldn't control how terribly twitchy the body he had hijacked was becoming.

He flailed and spasmed. And it was a worrying sight, he looked like he was being electrocuted.
It was worrying because that was still Mikey's body...

The tubes Shredder was connected to started to pump him with some kind of unknown fluid. And Mortu stopped the machine when the body went limp. He then removed anything The body had been connected too.

Raphael was the first to rush over to his brother, picking him up by his shoulders, and shaking him.

"Mikey! Answer me, come on little brother... say something."
Splinter put his hand on Raph's shoulder, making him stop shaking Michelangelo's body. There was a sudden groan.

"Owww- something..."
Raphael laughed, picking Mikey up and squeezing him in a bone breaking hug before setting him on the floor. He almost fell over and flat on his back, but Silver Sentry caught him.

Mortu Nodded with a smile.
"Ch'rell's spirit has been eviscerated."
Splinter gave his thanks to Mortu, who bid the art a-due. He had to go back to his planet soon.
So bye bye Mortu!

Michelangelo clutched his head, wincing as he looked around and his senses came to him.
He looked around and saw his family, and looked up to see Silver Sentry!

His memories were quick to slap him across to face, and he burst out into tears, jumping up to give Silver Sentry a proper hug. It was returned with a smile.
"You're not a swine man, I love you! Thank youu for saving my life! I so totally owe you one.."
"Trust me, no offense was taken friend. And I'm happy to help. As ling as you're safe... I wouldn't decline a gift of cookies, though!"

Michelangelo wiped his eyes before leaving the hero's embrace.

Now he had to face his family...
