A Love-Drunk Memory

Chapter 10

A month and a few weeks later...

Kellin's P.O.V.

Vic and I sit in comfortable silence as we wait for Dr. Merrick. We still haven't talked about the kiss, just acting like it never happened. I was now two months and a week. I had a little baby bump going on that I loved. It amazes me how people can carry another human being inside of them. A knock sounds on the door before Dr. Merrick pokes his head in. I smile at him as he walks in.

"Hello Kellin, who's this?" he asks as he slips on a pair of gloves. "This is Vic. Vic, this is Dr. Merrick," I grin. They shake hands before Dr. Merrick turns to me. "Okay Kellin, lift up your shirt and lay back," Dr. Merrick demands nicely. I do as he says before he rubs the gel stuff on me. "Do you have any questions or concerns?" Dr. Merrick asks as he grabs the remote thingy.

"No, not really," I shake my head. "Okay," he nods, looking at the screen before turning it to me. he points out the baby on the screen and I smile at it. "Would you like a sonogram?" Dr. Merrick asks and I nod. He hands me a napkin as he gets the sonogram. I wipe off the gel before throwing the napkin away. Dr. Merrick hands me the sonogram and I smile at him in thanks.

We leave after I make an appointment at the front desk. We get in Vic's car and he starts it before turning to me. "Wanna go grab a late lunch?" he asks. "Sure," I smile. He backs out of the parking lot and drives us somewhere. I listen to My Chemical romance stream out of the stereo as we drive. The scenery passes by in a bit of a blur as Vic takes us to wherever.

We pull up to McDonalds and I smile over at him. We get out and walk up to the door, which Vic holds open for me. "Thank you," I smile and he nods. "What do you want? I'll order while you go pick a seat," he smiles. I tell him that I want chicken nuggets with a sweet tea before picking out a booth in the back.

I text the guys while I wait, planning on hanging out later tonight. Vic comes with our food and drinks, sitting across from me. He gives me a ten piece nugget with fries and a sweet tea. He has the same thing as me. "So, can I bring you somewhere tonight?" Vic asks as we eat. "Sorry, but I made plans with the guys to hang out. You're welcome to join us along with your possé," I shrug, frowning a little. "No, it's fine," he smiles slightly. I nod and we eat in a slightly tense silence.

After we finished Vic drops me off at the house. He turns to me and we stare at each other. "Uh, can we talk for just a minute?" he asks and I nod. "Okay, uh, listen Kellin, I really like you. More than a friend. I just wanted you to know that. And I was wondering if you would, uh, be my boyfriend?" Vic asks nervously. I smile at him. "Of course I will," I smile and he grins happily. "Thank God you said yes or this would have been awkward as hell," Vic chuckles.

We stare at each other in silence, our eyes locking. Vic's eyes flicker down to my lips and mine do the same to his. We lean in until our lips touch. My eyes flutter close as our lips move together. Our tongues brush against each other as we kiss. Our kiss slows down until our lips are just touching. Vic pecks my lips, once, twice, before pulling away.

"I'll see you around," Vic smiles as I get out. "Okay, bye," I smile. "Bye gorgeous," he grins as I shut my door, a slight blush in my cheeks. I walk up the stairs into my house, jumping when my Dad's voice comes out of no where. "Took you long enough to come inside," he smirks as I face him. "Sorry, Vic and I were talking," I grin and he humphs. "Okay. Your Mother and I are going out if town for a few days," my Dad says. "Why?" I ask.

"Reasons. Anyways, just thought I should tell you," he shrugs and I nod. "Okay, um, is it okay if the guys come over for a bit tonight?" I ask. "Yup, no illegal things happening," he demands and I smile. "No problemo, anyways, I'm going to go clean my room," I say and he nods, walking off. I go up to my room and look around. Really the only thing that I needed to pick up were my dirty clothes. I pick them up and throw them in my hamper before sitting down and texting Alan.
