Chapter-8 Night to Remember 2

Flashback continues....

Lavina's POV:

It will blow up the whole work I did to hide this relationship.

I was about to pick a drink when someone did it before me, I side eyed him. He... He is one of Aiken's friends.

I turned my attention to take another drink, he leaned against the table he said, "Hey... You are all alone...."

I sipped my drink, not thinking about what he asked. I am just angry with my man right now, and nothing else matters.

He said, "You recognized me?.... I don't come here often, so... maybe...."

I looked at him fixing my hair, I whispered, "Leo... Aiken's friend.... I saw you once with him...."

He smiled as he said, "You remember me..." He got so excited.

I said, "I have a sharp memory, I usually remember everything.... and yea... I try to remember with whom my little brother is hanging out..."

I whispered, "Little Brother.... you are his friend... I don't date younger boys..." I walked away from him to one of the balcony.

He followed me as he said excited, "Aiken is 6 months younger than you... that's nothing.... and I am 3 months older than him... 3 months is nothing, you know...." I smirked. He is a nice guy, but not the one I am interested in.

I looked at him leaning against the railing, I said, "What you want, Leo?....Aiken is right there... and..."

He said, cutting my words, "I want to talk to you...."

He seemed too serious, I didn't want to break his heart. I said, "I don't date my brother's friends....." I sighed.

He said, "Then think of me as a classmate..." I chuckled, I said, "We are not classmates..." Logically, I and Aiken should be in one class, but he failed one. Mom decided to let him learn at his own pace. Plus, Aiken has a different high school, My parents thought he deserved a school where his sports got attention, and he has an interest in it more than studies... While I liked the books.

Ares and I graduated from the same school. He is smart, too. And Zavier, too, had the same high school as mine.

Leo said, "I graduated too this year, that's makes us the same." I chuckled, thinking of which, Aiken should have been doing that too. But that boy.

He said, "Look... I am coming after you immediately... but let's be friends... then...."

I said, "Friends.... That sounds good. But nothing more than that..." He scratched his head, and he sighed.

He stretched his hand, he said, "Leo Avila... I plan to study engineering, it will help my father's business. Anything else you want to know?.... Come on, you can be curious about me...." I smiled.

I shook my hand with him as I said, "I assume you know, Lavina Morris. I plan to be a lawyer..." He chuckled.

We talked for a few minutes, he was funny. But seriously, I can just think about Zavier, He is so busy with those girls, or maybe his anger is making him do this. But it is wrong. It's not like he is cheating. He is talking, but it bothers me so much.

I was stunned when Leo fixed my hair, and I moved back. He said, "Sorry... I thought it was bothering you..."

I was startled when I saw someone grabbing Leo's collar. I noticed it was Aiken. He looked furious as he pulled Leo off his seat. I was internally relieved that there is no crowd here.
