Lavina's POV:

Past midnight,

The clock just went past the 12 I sat in the kitchen drinking some hot chocolate, the maid suggested since I was soaked in rain before.

I had no energy to rebel.

I know maybe after this drink I will sleep peacefully. Anyways I am waiting for Aiken to return, it's been long since this boy went out of the house, I wish Ares was here, then maybe he will listen to me.

I noticed Aiken walking in the house spinning his keys in his hands, he looks in a good mood. I smiled silently.

He noticed me as he past the dining area. He checked the time as he said, "Shouldn't you be sleeping? You will get dark circled?" He joked. I want to be as normal as I can be around him, he don't need to see be broken.

I smiled, I whispered, "Maybe you should return home on time..."

He made a face keeping the bag on the table, he said, "I am 6 months younger than you, you should stop babying me.... I like this fun life..."

I whispered, "idiot!..."

I whispered as I pulled the bag to me, "I was worried.... I do not like to parent your ass..." He chuckled as he sat on the table.

I noticed cookies, I looked at him surprised. He pulled the bag as he said, "Hey! My friend gave them to me.... I am not sharing..."

I pulled the bag back as I asked, "Girlfriend?"

He rolled his eyes, I took one of the cookie he said, " I will share..."

I smiled biting into it, it's... it's marvelous, it's been long since I had such nice cookie. God! I can cry for it and beg for more...

Wait... it sounds dirty...

Shit! But it's perfect....

Aiken grinned as he said, "It's good right?"

I nod as I said, "Some good stuff.... I will take them all..."

He pulled the bag away from me as he said, "NO..."

I furrowed. He said, "You know how hard it is to sneak cookies..."

Wait....

he did not!!!

Aiken said, "I went to my friends house, they had a some little kids birthday party, these were there....I think it was his cousin's birthday..."

My eyes went wide, I feel guilty on eating this now.

I said warning, "you cannot steal a kids birthday snack... You are not that poor..."

We are not poor... and knowing what dangerous things our family does, these petty crimes will be a joke on us.

Aiken pinched my cheek as he said, "I asked him to give me some... I do not need to steal cookies.... they are home maid..."

I nod, but I was relieved.

I noticed Zavier standing few meter away, I looked down chewing, I didn't heard him being here.

Aiken said, "Zavier.... You need something.... How about we have a drink first?" I rolled my eyes, he has some serious Drinking addictions. I mean not literally but he needs to have a sip for two every night I guess....

Zavier said, "Not really.... I was here for water... and since you are here... I want to tell you-" I was waiting for him to speak I was looking at him.
