SECOND CHANCE

CHAPTER 6

"Was that Arnav bhai?" Jodha asked towel on her head.

"Yeah.." she sighed. Jodha hugged khushi.

"I told you to let go di, we told you not all rich people are mean." Jodha said, the thing is what they did to her was so cruel that she can't forget.

"I know.. I'm trying. I need my conscience. I need to apologize. I would come later." she took her bath and bath Arya. She quickly went towards Ranveer's room and knocked.

Ranveer was surprised, his brothers always walk in without knocking, he opened and was surprised to see khushi.

" Khushi? "it was kind of awkward.

" Come in. "he said but khushi smiled politely declining his offer.

" I'm sorry for my outburst earlier at the restaurant. I'm really sorry for my behavior. "she said in shame and Ranveer sighed.

" Why are you apologizing. It's nothing khushi, we didn't take it to heart. Don't worry. Go back to bed. "he said worried.

" OK. "she nods before going. She walked to Chandra door and knocked. He opened and saw Chandra.

" I'm sorry for my outburst on you earlier. "she apologize and Chandra smiled.

" It's okay. Go back to bed okay. Don't stress yourself. Goodnight. "he smiled genuinely before she left.

Arnav's room

Arya hugged Arnav whiles sleeping, Arnav wasn't asleep yet. He was thinking of khushi. She's hurt, truly hurt and he thinks it might be Arya's biological father and family that made her uneasy with rich people.

His thoughts were broken with a knock, he frowned and gently removed Aryan from himself before opening the door.

"Khushi?" He was surprised. Khushi could recall Ranveer's same reaction, the looked alike that is only the eye color and the voice.

"I'm apologizing for my outburst." she repeats. Arnav sighed.

"Khushi, go back to bed. It's late, I thought we've closed that topic." he said sternly and khushi nods before leaving.

She sighed after getting to the room but didn't see Jodha. She knew she was in the hall studying. She shrugged.

Jodha is taking online classes for IT. She's in her 2nd year.

Hall

Jodha was scrolling through her tablet. She didn't want to disturb khushi's sleep. After learning for about two hours, she took her tablets and notes, she walked into the corner and turned when she crushed with someone.

"Careful little one." Ranveer said. Jodha was surprised.

"Sorry." she whispered.

"What were you doing?" He asked. He slightly pushed her to the wall. He stared at her but she kept her head down. Her heart was beating inside her rib cage.

"I asked you a question. What were you doing." he asked tapping her nose.

"Studying." she whispered.

"Hmmm.. I see. Do you like me." he asked. Ranveer was a straightforward person. He's approach was so quick and too fast, that's Ranveer for us.

"Huh..."Jodha was surprised by his question.

" I know you like me,  you've been staring at me lately. Oggling me, staring when I'm not looking. Do you like me? Yes or No.. "he was waiting for an answer.

" But... "it wasn't logical to her.

" Yes or No.. "he asked

" huh. "she was in a dazed.
