SECOND CHANCE

CHAPTER 12

Khushi was in Arnav's room, her back facing him. She was seated at the edge of the bed while Maya was breastfeeding. Khushi could feel the stares pointed at her back.

"Tell me. What's bothering you Arnav?" Khushi asked and Arnav gasped in surprise.

"I didn't know you could... Ermm. Are you sure of the relationship between my twin and jodha? Did you accept them because you didn't want us to be worried. I'm worried." he states. He was still not sure if khushi accepted his twin sincerely.

"I'm not going to be fair to them. They love each other, I could see it through them. Their fight made me promise to unite them. I told you I was worried which household she was going to. I'm glad it's one of the Raizada's." she said truthfully.

Arnav smiled, he felt content after her statement. He saw her turned to him. She smiled.

" When is your family arriving? "Khushi asked curious to know.

" Them.. I don't know. They are bunch of people who aren't serious. We stopped asking them because they tell you this day then the said date they tell you they are busy. "he shrugged.

" Oh.. Is it the whole family, like extentended and faraway relatives together? "she said. She laid Arya carefully on the bed.

" Not exactly, mother and father side would be there but the rest are distance relatives, they don't need to fly that early. They would be here a week after the ceremonies start. Our family is large. "he took his time to explain.

" But how would you accommodate them. Raizada mansion isn't that too big to accommodate a lot of families and friends. "she asked frowning, her lips pouted, Arnav stared at her lips quickly then licked his lips.

" You are very fast at knowing your environment. The farm house is where everything would take place. It's so large and big that it has over 500 rooms. My late dad made sure to build a portion like a hotel, another portion for direct families and friends and servant quarters. We have farm produce, everything you would think of. There are a lot caretakers there always maintaining the properties. Hariprikash family takes care of the farm house, he goes to check on it from time to time, sometimes we do visit."he clarified. Khushi was astonished.

She was still in shock. How?

" Then why don't you stay there? "Khushi's curiosity was increasing.

" It doesn't feel like home. Here does. Being here makes us feel close to our parents. "he said with sadness in his eyes. Khushi regretted asking him.

" I'm sorry for prying into your private lifes. I shouldnt have asked. "she apologized.

" It's nothing. You were only curious. When the celebrations start we are all moving there. Informing you. "he said and khushi nods.

" So how is your family, are they rude, judgemental,nice.. "she tried to change the topic.

" That! I'm sorry but you have to face a lot of colors. You would meet kind and sweet one, rude and judgemental people, those who look down on people. The flashy ones, you know a lot. But don't worry, I'm going to be by your side." he grinned, his statement made her feel  a little butterfly in her stomach.

" Time for bed. Thanks for clearing my head. "she said giggling, Arnav smiled, As she picked Arya and opened the door she met Aryan coming in.

" Hi.. Babe. "Aryan said to khushi and wink at her. Khushi laughed.

" Hello, my honeyboo. "she ruffled his hair and smiled before leaving. Arnav gave his son a glare which didn't face him at all.

" You are a big boy now. You need to stop sleeping in my room. What would your friends say if they heard you still sleep with your dad. "Arnav teased and Aryan shrugged, he laid on the bed and grinned at Arnav, Arnav knew what he was about to say wasn't good. He sighed.
