Round 1!

As the instructions for the first round began, I looked around to find my cousin, hoping he was expecting me there, but true to his word, he was disappointed. I had to at least make it to the first round, to prove that I can do it without using my powers to cheat the system.

"The rules are simple: you are to run around the course given to you and reach the end of the finish line first to make it to the next round. But be warned, we have multiple traps waiting for each and every one of you. So, we will begin at the start of the bell."

While the students went towards the starting line, I knew full well that the place will be very tight if anyone were to enter in without any issues. Last time, I ended up knocked out, but this time, I have a better solution.

"Now, begin!"

Right when the bell rang, all the students went towards the entrance and knew it was hard to leave. At that moment, I was about to use Tsu's powers to jump, but knew this is exactly what my brother wanted. Instead, I jumped, using the heads and the walls to reach over until I was close to the exit. As soon as I was outside, something cold was pulling me down. I knew that chunk of ice anywhere: Shoto.

"Sorry." Shoto apologized, running with his ice quirk activated, "but I need to win this round."

Even though this was hurting my ego, I knew I had to win to prove my cousin wrong. With enough power, I span around and hit the ice shards by my body, which broke apart easily.

"That's where you're wrong, Shoto!" I yelled out in pain.

He turned as I and a couple of students escaped his icy passage that he blocked us with. Running as fast as I could, I knew he would be easily freeze us instantly, so I had to be careful. Using my socks as skates, I slid down towards him, making sure nothing will go wrong and improvise as best as I could. Unfortunately, I was wrong.

Right as I got to the first course, a bunch of robots stood in front of me. As the group stared at them right in the face, Shoto froze the machine right away and ran forward. Thinking that the monsters will attack at any moment, I went towards one of the machines and jumped on to that. By finding it's wiring compartment on the neck, I pulled it off and looked at it carefully.

"If I can rewrite its genetic codes," I thought carefully while accessing the wires behind its neck, "maybe I can-"

Sure enough, I high wired the machine and was now in my control

"Yes! I made it!"

Suddenly, a machine that wasn't in my control, looked at me and prepared to stab both me and the machine, but was blocked by Bakugou.

"Get moving, ass wipe!!" he called out in anger as he moved on.
"Right!"

Moving my hot-wired machine towards the next round, at least, I can get it to move somewhere. Until we reached the second half of the course: where there's a large cavern blocking our paths.

"Alright, gotta get this done right, or else... I'll end up making a bad call on it."

With enough strength, I pulled the machine to go forward, as if flew to the air. It made it at least halfway, but not enough for me to pull it off. I got up from the back prepared to align it right away until I reached the edge of the third way there. With enough strength, I jumped in the air off of the machine, making my way to the other side safely, but not enough.

"Ow!" I winced, as I landed wrong, but kept running regardless.

As the third part of the course came across, I noticed a bunch of bombs were laid in the dirt floor. With no shoes, I ran. Seeing that it didn't detect the bombs due to my shoes not strong enough to detect, I thought this would be the perfect moment. That was, until Shoto froze my leg.

"Sorry, but I cannot let you win when I can beat you first."
"Fuck... Shoto..."

He ran in front as the others were about to draw close. Bakugou, who noticed Shoto passing ran first, but stopped when he saw me trapped.

"The fuck happened to you?"
"Shoto froze me..."
"That bastard... I'll make him pay for what he's done."

Seeing the remaining members drawing close by, I told Bakugo to go without me. He stopped and looked at me.

"I'll only slow you down if you aren't in first..."

Debating on this matter, he knew that first was important, but to leave me alone was even worse. Grinding his teeth, he aimed at my ice and broke it easily.

"Don't ask for my help anymore. This is one time I'll offer." was all he said as he flew off with his quirk.

Knowing he was going to move on, I knew my ankle was aching from earlier. So with an amount of time left, I grabbed the ice pieces and tied it with my uniform. Running as fast as I could, I reached out of the line and ran towards the finish line. Surprisingly, I made it to 20th place, which wasn't bad, but still...

My foot was aching badly that I wanted to wobble my way to Recovery Girl's office before the next challenge started. However, due to the next round, I was told that they were going to do chariot chase. Which meant, whomever was first has the million points, which meant all eyes were on Midoriya, who was on first.

"Now, find your five people and we'll begin momentarily." Miss Midnight commanded as she swatted her weapon.

No wonder why she's considered the "R" rated hero. Because of moments like this. I thought to myself.

I didn't know who to choose since I barely know anyone from my class. As I looked around, trying to think of who to choose, someone grabbed me by the shoulder.

"Wanna join my team?"
