The next day, as I started to wake up, my phone started to vibrate. Looking at the screen with a tired look in my eyes, I saw the notification:

BAKUGOU (7:15am)

"Hey! WaKe ThE HeLl Up!!!"

"How did he-" I began to ask until I remembered.

I gave him your number before leaving the station since I had a bad time waking up early on a few occasions. Plus, if I wasn't mistaken, he wanted me to walk with him to school this morning. As best as I could, I brushed my hair to look nice, wore my uniform and ran towards the station. Along the way, I noticed the convenience store opened this early morning. Wanting to make a good first impression with Bakugou, I grabbed two orders of steaming pork buns and ran towards the station. Just as I entered the train door, there he was: sitting on the train seat, waiting for me.

"You're late." he barked.
"S...sorry." I apologized.
"Stop doing that." he groaned in annoyance. "it's getting pretty old."
"R...right."

Just then, I noticed Midoriya coming near our area.

"Shizuka! Ka-Kaachan!? Why are you two here?"
"Going to school, you damn nerd."
"Oh, right. I guess I forgot about that."

Without thinking, I started to hand both of them the pork buns I held in my bag.

"Thanks, Shizuka!" Midoriya thanked, "I haven't had breakfast this morning."
"Thanks. I guess."

As Midoriya started to nibble on the delicious bun, Bakugou noticed something was off. You only brought two buns on the train and gave both of them to them, leaving you with nothing for yourself. Ripping half of the bun with his hands, Bakugou handed you a piece.

"Here. Take it."

Realizing how kind he was showing, you grabbed the piece, accidently making your fingers slip towards his hand. Feeling how rough his skin was, you continued to touch it until he cleared his throat.

"Just grab the damn bun, you weirdo." snapped Bakugou.
"Oh! Right..." I replied.

Quickly, you started to nibble the half ripped bun, trying to distract yourself with the embarrassment. Midoriya, who was thinking about battle strategies, noticed the interaction you both had for each other. With a chuckle, he turned away and kept his thoughts to himself.

"What's so funny, Deku?" Bakugou inquired.
"N-nothing!"
"D..." I started to speak, "do...you...two-"

I heard Bakugou scoff at him as he looked towards the scenery.

"We've known each other since we were kids."

That would explain his yelling he said during that battle. Was he jealous of Midoriya for having better power or was it something else? No matter the case, I was glad to be friends with two people. However, when we made it to the school grounds, a bunch of reporters came to us asking about All Might as a teacher. Publicity was always something my parents would love, but I couldn't. It made my body freeze more when I was publicly speaking in front of reporters.

"What's it like having All Might as a teacher?!" one asked me directly. "We want to know..."

The news reporter stopped mid sentence only to realize who I actually was.

"Guys!" he called out, "Fuji Duo's child's here!"

The entire publicity ran towards me, pointing cameras towards my face.

"Tell me:" one called out, "will you be working in the same agency as your parents?"
"Do you have your father's quirk, your mother's quirk or both?"
"What is your sole purpose of going to UA?"

Questions kept bombarding me as the rest of the students watched. The only two who pulled me out of the reporters crowd were Midoriya and Bakugou. They were protecting me?

"Sorry, but we gotta go to class now!" excused Midoriya to the reporters.
"But we haven't gotten a reply from her yet!" argued one reporter.
"We won't leave without a comment from her!"

Unsure as to what would happen if I open up my lips, Mr. Aizawa stood in front of us, glaring at the reporters angrily.

"You've harassed our students long enough. Now let them be and go home, all of you. Bakugou, Midoriya, take Fujimoto to class."
"Yes sir."

With both of their hands on mine, we walked into the school grounds together. In my eyes, this was the best experience I've ever had with them, treating me well like a princess. But with them, it looked like a war between them to see whose hand needs to be removed from mine. Which didn't bother me at the very least. Just as the two entered the classroom, Midoriya removed it quickly, apologized for holding my hand without permission, and walked right inside. Bakugou, however, just walked in without saying another word. Right as soon I walked in, a pink haired girl pulled me outside the classroom and into the side for a second.

"You're Fujimoto, right?" she asked with a grin.

I nodded as she continued.

"Do you wanna have lunch with me and the girls? We have something to ask you."
"Um..."
"Great!" she interrupted. "We'll see you then!"

With that response, she turned and walked away towards the classroom door, leaving me kind of speechless. It's as if she didn't hear me say a single word that came out of my mouth. But as I was about to ask for her name, she turned around with a smile.

"It's Mina, by the way!"

With a giggle in her cheeks, she twirled and returned to her seat. Maybe this Mina wasn't so bad of a friend after all. Or so I thought. Hours passed as we had lunch, Mina was leading me to the girls table where Momo, Jiro, Tsu, and Hagakure were at. Once we sat down, the girls swarmed at me for questions.

"So, can you tell us what kind of quirk you have?" Hagakure asked.
"Do you prefer tea or lemonade?" inquired Momo.
"Is there something between you and Midoriya or Bakugou?" hinted Jiro.
"Why do you want to be a hero?" questioned Tsu.

A lot of questions flooded my brain since this was the first time people asked me about anything apart from my parents. However, it was too much to ask.

"Girls, come on," defended Mina. "Give her some space. We shouldn't push her until she's comfortable with this matter."
"Thank you..." I whispered to Mina.

Unfortunately, the girls started to squeal in delight. Hearing me whisper this close made them glisten with glee. That was short-lived, however, when we heard the alarm going off.

"What's going on?" I asked, trying to speak up loudly, but failed.
"Not sure." Hagakure yelled.
"Looks like something went off." Jiro suggested.
"Excuse me," Momo asked a third year, "can you tell us what's happening?"
"Looks like someone broke into UA." the third year answered loudly, "That hasn't happened in the years I've been in!"
"We got to go." Mina called out, "come on, girls!"

As everyone started to run towards the hallways, you noticed that it was starting to pile up so quickly.

"Damn, we can't get through at this rate!" Jiro growled.

As they try to find a way to get out, I noticed an empty hallway that let us enter in and out of the cafeteria. Hurriedly, I ran towards the empty hallway, but someone pushed me by accident, knocking me towards the ground. Next thing I knew, I woke up with a bandage on my head.

"Clumsy, aren't we dearie?" asked Recovery Girl.
"No ma'am, just bad luck."
"I see. Well, your friends came to see you again."
"Which ones?"
"Midoriya, Bakugou. In different times, actually."
"I see." I replied, "thank you."

With them not appreciating each other as they are, yet liking me as their friend, this was going to be one crazy year.
