My fingers circled around my cup. As some men of my family sat in a room, a break before we start compromising. They all chatted as Sebast'yan sat on the desk beside me. He voice never faulted from its cheerful mood. Honestly it creeped me out sometimes.

" so how's your lily?" He asked I looked up to him and took a drink not wanting to answer his question.

" better than you" I spat

" cmon..even I'm curious to her..I kinda miss her eyes" he smirked. I reached for him but he moved away just in time. He laughed and ruffled up my hair a bit as I let him. " I don't know, so—"

Suddenly the doors opened of the room. A frantic guard skimmed the place before landing eyes on me. The room was silent feeling as though a single breath could be your last. He hesitated for a moment before walking towards me as I lowered my cup to give him my attention. He stood unsure of what to do as I stared at him.

" what is it"

" i-sir, you may want to take this call" he muttered

" about?"

My brow rose not expecting him to sound like that. I looked to Sebastian as he nodded him self. Taking the phone and held it up to my ear.

Seeing my father look over to me as the room slowly went back to its chatter. ' h-how have you been?' He chuckled

I knew who was on the other side of my line. He's the only one to know what happened with Serina or what my plan is.

" spit it out" I gritted

' fine, don't compromise..they just tried to kidnap her but she was saved just before... she is home. And yes others are around monitoring.' He went quiet for a second

Noticing my father coming closer and gestured to put it on speaker. I nodded and did so and stood up to meet his gaze.

' she was silent the whole way...till we got to her apartment. She mentioned to pass a message but it's stupid. She didn't mean it, she was scared'

" say it" my father spoke up

' sir...she kept threatening us once we told her that we would tell you about the event. Then she laughed...and grabbed my hand..sir please don't take her seriously.'

" stop it and tell us before I find you"

My hands rested on the desk as my head slightly dipped. It's felt as if whatever she could say would send me into a frenzy. I just wanted to hear what she would say. I needed to know.

' if Terreno ever gets her..she would turn on you and take Ace. Please everyone she's not a threat-"

Suddenly I laughed. It's the only thing I could do. Feeling a hand on my back from Sebast'yan till I looked at father. Everyone around has disgusted and shocked faces, even father.

" why are you smiling? She just sided with the enemy!" He shouts

I shook my head as I chuckled. " none of you know my lily and I know her. My poor girl is sending a message just to me...so thank you for letting me know"
