Oddly spending a day with this complete stranger wasn't so bad. Though I continuously felt and saw people's eyes follow us. After eating with him and stupidly enjoying my time with him. I could only see his eyes locked onto to me more often. After he paid we walked out, the sun was still out but slowly lowering.

" so where do we go birthday girl?" He smiled I walked in front of him for a minute before I spoke.

" a walk. I wasn't planning much for today but work and relax. So a walk would do me good." I softly spoke

Guessing he didn't mind the idea he sped up to match my pace. We didn't say anything for a minute and just walked. Not much to talk about when you didn't know what to.

" you said earlier you were here by yourself, in this city, how did you?" He asked

" I actually didn't, it was hard living here till I found a long time job. Making a living and having fun was something I didn't expect truthfully mostly in this heat sometimes" I chuckled

" if you need anything even after this mess...you can still contact me" he briefly spoke

" well if I break your heart I don't think your mother would like you to be anywhere with me" I laughed Hearing him do so too when I thought of the words his men said to me.

" so were your men lying when they said I make you smile more?" I teased He rolled his eyes and seemed to move away from me.

" well sweetheart, when you work with rich snobby people..trust me seeing a real human is refreshing" he sighed

" right so I'm your escape" I sighed

" well, yes but I brought you in this mess might as well keep you close" he shrugged

" to keep making you laugh from all your snobby people" I giggled

" exactly! I knew you were smart in there" My head whipped to him as I hit his arm. A heartily laugh from him as he wrapped his arm around my waist. " god, I wish you could understand my language they talk too much." He sighs

I didn't say anything knowing his language was pretty but rough to hear almost as if everything they said was aggressive, yet I knew that all too well with my own language. " you know teaching comes a long way" I shrugged

He hummed to that and looked around him. He leaned towards me and spoke to my ear. " have you noticed we're being followed?" He whispered

" no but that sounds creepy please" I smiled awkwardly Nudging him a little to move away but he held me tighter.

" it's not my men, they are farther behind." Confused I looked to him seeing he looked around. His grip on me was near tight. His eyes reminded me of an animal scanning for its prey. He looked concerned. Without a thought I stopped and reached for his face again. Gently, I held his face and turned him to me. Stern and fierce, his eyes constricted, his jaw clenched.

" as long as I'm with and near you, we'll both be fine." I smiled to him For a moment I saw his eyes dilate. His face became softer, his hand came to mines and smiled. " good" Placed a quick peck on my forehead as he held me there.

" let's get you home, also you did good" I didn't say anything to him as we walked back towards the car. Pulling out his phone and texting and holding my hand. Staying quiet was all I could do.

all so stupid. Just one day you've met him. Too far, but I'm playing by my own rules.

Even when we got to the car I didn't say anything and him, on his phone. The car now always had that radio on which calmed me down. Finally at the apartment it felt awkward, just walking to the elevator and walking to the door. Not even a word from him, he allowed me to open the door but he went in first. Seeing his eyes scan once again before he let me in.
