A year later, Joseph Wilson was brought into A.R.G.U.S. with Colonel Rick Flag and Amanda Waller, now in a similar uniform, based around that of his father.

When he was younger, he was told when the time was right, he would be given the same codename his father used: Deathstroke. Told about the file Task Force X, Joseph was told about others being apart of the team. Driving to Belle Reve Penitentiary, Joseph and Flag are talking about who to bring into this "team" of theirs.
Joseph: [Curious] So, who's Waller bringin' in on this shit?
Flag: You better shut your damn trap, Wilson.
Joseph: [Eases up] Ooh, calm down, Sarge. I just thought, we're workin' together, I feel I should know who I'm workin' with.
Flag: What's to know? We're walking into a highly secured prisoner detention facility, hiring some of the most psychotic criminals Gotham City, Metropolis, any city you've been to, just to join this Task Force. So stand up straight, follow my lead, and shut the hell up.
Joseph: [Mocks him] A'ight, Sarge.
Next thing to happen, in Joseph's opinion, wasn't really a shock. Flag takes Joseph by the armor on his chest, pushes him to a wall and punches him in the face. This was something definitely normal for him, but Joseph wasn't just gonna let Waller's lapdog take him down a peg or two. He dodges a punch and hits Flag back, turning him to the wall, and begins taking out some stress.
Waller(Comms): Wilson, Flag. If you two can't solve this matter, I'll blow both your brains out.
The two eventually stop fighting, but lightly scoffs at one another. They kept the glares on their faces, but eventually let bygones be bygones.
Joseph: [Rubs chin] Now, I know you don't wanna agree with me, but you'd listen to Waller. Now, tell me who we gettin' on this shit, otherwise we're both dead.
Flag: [Rubs cheek; nods] Okay, Wilson. Just this once. [Hands him files] The director's got a few bad names on this list, but you and I get the final say on this.
Joseph: [Looking over list] No kidding. Quite the criminals. [Turns to him] You sure we can trust 'em?
Flag: I'm trusting your ass, so I got no choice.
Leaving him to ponder the list of candidates, Flag walks away. Joseph looks over the list, before eventually joining him. The first person they come across is Floyd Lawton, a.k.a. Deadshot. They stand outside of his cell, hearing loud banging sounds from the inside.
Flag: Floyd Lawton. [Turns to Joseph] Usually, he's like you. Gunslinger, makes most of his kills from a distance.
Joseph: [Nods] I heard he's good. That was until the Bat dealt him the first loss in his career as a super criminal.
