Taylor shot up from bed with a gasp. Her hands shook as wiped her sweaty bangs from her face trying to get control of her breathing. She closed her eyes for a moment only for a flash of the nightmare that had just woken her up to appear in her mind.

"Fuck!" Taylor rubbed her face with her hands trying to wipe the scene from her mind. "Stop it stop it stop it." She mumbled under her breath rocking her body back and forth.

A knock from the door caused her whole body to jump as her head whipped up. "Mrs. Kelce, are you up awake?" Emma's head peeks through the door, her voice quiet. When her eye's land on Taylor she immediately rushes into the room setting the things she was carrying down on the dresser before running to Taylor's side. "Hey it's ok, you're ok." Her voice shook as she looked around the room unsure of what to do.

"I'm going to get Mr. Kelce." She tried walking away, but Taylor's hand shot out grabbing hers.

"No!" She gasped trying desperately to regain some form of control. "I'm fine." She said not sure who she was trying to convince.

Emma looked unsurely towards the door but silently obeyed her request, moving retrieve a water bottle. When she returned to the bedside Taylor had managed to calm herself down and graciously took the bottle from Emma's hands. The girls sat in silence as Taylor slowly sipped on her water too afraid to say anything.

"Please don't tell Travis." She finally managed to whisper, her voice croaky.

"But miss-"

"Please."

Emma sighed but nodded her head. "We better get you ready, Mr. Kelce is expecting you in his office."

Taylor smiled at her gratefully, wincing slightly as she went to get up which Emma caught but didn't mention. Despite Taylors protests that she would be fine on her own, Emma assisted her in getting ready. When she was done Emma walked her to Travis's office giving her a quick run down before they made it to the door.

"I believe Mr. Kelce plans on introducing you to a few people, once the meetings are done you'll come down for some breakfast. On that topic is there any requests you'd like to put in?"

"No."

"Ok then, good luck!"

Before Taylor could stop her Emma rushed away leaving her standing alone in the hallway at Travis's door. Her hand shook as she reached for the doorknob just barely peeking her head through. There were two people sitting next to each other on the couch while Travis sat in his chair listening as the woman spoke. Taylor pushed the door open slightly more so she could get a better peek, grimacing as the hinges squeaked.

Travis immediately stopped talking looking over to the door which Taylor was hiding behind. His face softened slightly as he saw the timid look on her face unsure if she should enter.

"Come in birdie, no need to be shy."

Pushing the door open Taylor stepped into the room shutting it behind her. Travis motioned for her to come towards him with his finger watching as Taylor silently obeyed. Once she was close enough he grabbed her hip pulling her onto his lap making her squeak in surprise.

"You look so pretty in this dress, I was hoping you would wear it." Her cheeks turned bright red as he whispered in her ear, his hands resting on the sides of her hips.

She was wearing a white dress that fell just above her knees, with puffy sleeves that scrunched around her wrists and a bow that tied it in the back which matched the white bow she had tied in her hair to hold it out of her face.

"I wanted you to meet some people before we start today, this is Tree and Lance Paine. They help manage the estate and finances and a few other things." He gestured to the people who sat on the couch next to them.
