Nothings Wrong

Y/N walked her new route to school, taking in all the sights and sounds of the streets as she did. Everything was peaceful, and she just hoped that peacefulness carried into the classroom today as she spotted the tall building's roof over the tree line. She hummed lowly, watching other teenagers and even some younger kids walking their own routes to school. A familiar looking blonde stepped into her view, headphones drowning out the outside world as he ignored most else. She watched him for a few seconds, looking away as she thought to herself.

'Maybe I should walk with him...... No. That's weird Y/N, plus you saw his attitude yesterday. There's no way I'm going on a suicide mission like that!' She sighed, looking back in front of her as she finished the small walk to school, putting her headphones in halfway through. She walked to her homeroom quickly, scared to be late no matter what time it was as music rang through her ears. 'Maybe today will be good as well...'

English was one of Y/N's better classes, seeing as how her mom was born and raised in America, she had spoken some at home just in case. This made it so Y/N could tune out most of the lesson, her mind swirling about her classmates, and just how good they were yesterday. After a while it was lunch, the bell ringing through the overhead speakers as Y/N sighed gratefully. She glanced up, noticing Mina coming to a stop before her desk as the pink girl teetered back and forth on her feet with a matching pink wallet in her hand.

"Hey, you want to walk to lunch together Noya? I heard lunch rushes food is super good!" Her bubbly smile reflected onto Y/N, the girl quickly agreeing as she searched for her wallet in the pocket of her backpack. Once she fished it out they began to walk to the crowded cafeteria, a pep in their step as they talked. Most of it was about what their Hero Training class would contain, but they also spoke about their own opinions on the school so far, keeping it light and fun as they joined the lunch line. They moved up quickly, paying for their food as they got their respective dishes before stepping away from the crowd of people.

Kirishima and Kaminari waved them down to sit with them when the boys noticed the two looking for a seat. They hurriedly walked over there, sitting down on the opposite side of the two boys. Sero was with them as well, and surprisingly, the ash-blonde known as Bakugo too. They peacefully ate, everyone, mostly, greeting and trying to converse with each other as much as the grumpy blonde would let them.

"Man, did you see that Todoroki boys quirk yesterday? I heard he was one of four recommended kids to get in this year. Must be pretty strong." Y/N picked at her leftover food, starting up another conversation with the table as lunch came to its midway point. The pink girl on her right hummed in acknowledgment, nodding her head as she swallowed a spoonful of rice before speaking.

"Yeah, he seemed totally mysterious yesterday! He was all quiet, and didn't even seem like he was trying at all." The boys in front of them agreed, adding in about how he didn't even talk during their time in the locker room either as Bakugo just stayed silent, eating his lunch. Then the talk changed to their own quirks, everyone sharing their knowledge before they turned to the silent one of the bunch.

"What about you Bakugo?" Y/N asked, her interest piqued at the small amount of information she had on him as he looked up to the group with a small scowl.

"Explosions. Didnt you see them yesterday, you idiots?" After that the table didn't try to talk to him, but they knew he was listening until the end of lunch when they all began to head back to class. The boy walked a few feet ahead of them, his brooding not dampening their mood as they continued to chat on their way back and up until Iida told them class was about to start.

The students settled down, silence enveloping for only a moment before the sliding door clattered to the side, the large frame of All Might standing in the doorway as his voice boomed throughout the class.
