He gets what he deserves Chapter 22

"That's a lot you're asking Autumn."

Autumn looked at her brother and Mia. She held the phone firmly to her ear.

"I know. But are you helping us?" she asked the person on the other end of the line.

" Well, because it's you."

" Thank you." Autumn hung up.

" So?" Reece asked.

" She's helping us."

Walker entered the bar. His case was dropped. The lawyer was furious. How could it be that this nurse suddenly had her memories back?

He sat down in one of the corners. A waitress came up to him in a moment.

"Good evening, mister, what can I get you?" She smiled at him.

Walker knew her. He was often here after work.

"Whisky."

He had lost the case. But he wasn't finished yet. If he couldn't get Roger out of prison, he would just make life difficult for the others.

He would meet Killermann tomorrow and start a case against Reece together with him. Maybe he would also manage to get Autumn involved and frame her for something.

Then he would make sure that the kindergarten teacher who dated Mia would lose her children.

He grinned as he took the first sip of his whisky.

And when he had done all that, he would take care of Siobhan. He would ruin her reputation so badly that she would leave London once and for all.

Walker's gaze landed on the bartender who had brought him the whiskey. She was a pretty thing. What would he do to have her?

He drained his glass and raised his hand.

She came straight to his table.

" Another whiskey?"

"Yes, and your number if possible." He grinned at her dirty.

She gave him a polite smile in return.
" I'm at work, mister. So I'm sorry."

" Playing hard to get. I like that." He slapped her on the bum.

She gave him a critical look. But then leant towards him. " Why don't you stay until everyone's gone. Then I'll give you what you want." She put her hand on his chest.

Walker grinned. Well, at least he would still be having fun with a woman today.

When the pub was empty, Walker got up from his seat. The bartender was already waiting for him at the bar.

She didn't have to say any more as the man already had his hands on her.

He pushed her aggressively into the bar and gripped her hips firmly.

Walker was so busy that he didn't notice the door of the pub open and three people enter.

Walker had his hand on the woman's chest when something hard hit him in the back of the knee. He slumped down. Someone grabbed him by the shoulders and threw him to the ground.

"Well Well, who do we have here?"

A heel of a shoe was pressed firmly into his chest.

Walker looked up and met Mia's green eyes. Who smiled down at him.

Behind her stood Reece and Autumn.

"What are you planing to do?! Do you want to end up in jail?" shouted Walker.

Autumn raised her eyebrow. "Sara? What exactly happened?"

Sara smiled slightly and stepped next to Autumn. " Walker molested me. Just like he does to every girl here." she spoke innocently.

"You bitch! You fucked with me!"

Sara tilted her head. " Did I?"

Mia pressed her heel harder into his chest. "I can already read the headline in the local paper 'Star lawyer harasses waitress', man Walker that would really ruin your reputation. Don't you think?"

"You won't get away with that!"

"Four statements against one. How are you going to talk your way out of this, Walker?" Autumn said.

Mia smiled at him again and got off him.

Walker tried to jump to his feet quickly, but Reece grabbed him and threw him against the counter. He pressed his forearm against the lawyer's throat.
"So pack your things and get out of London!"

"Yes! Ok ok! I will!" There was fear in Walker's voice.

Reece let him got. He ran to the door, with his tail between his legs.

" Oh, Walker. I'm afraid I have to tell you that you have to walk home. Your car has a broken windscreen," said Autumn, putting her baseball bat over her shoulder.

The lawyer gave her a dirty look. But then disappeared quickly.

"Thank you, Sara," said Reece.

"I did it for Autumn and to finally get rid of that arsehole. He couldn't keep his hands to himself."

The three of them made their way home.

"Do Siobhan and Vivian know about this?" asked Mia.

"No. I should just make sure that Walker leaves them alone," said Autumn.
