The Unicorn Farm - Two

He couldn't mean what you think he does right? He wouldn't make Florence cry- or use you to do it......right?

You stare at him dumbfounded for a bit before blinking and ripping your arm out of his grip.
"Who says I want to leave? Maybe I wanna stay with Florence."
"I don't care what you want you're leaving with me."
"Maybe you shouldn't have traded me then."
"I have a damn plan okay!? So stop being such a brat and listen to me!"

You huff and walk in the direction where Florence went. You could feel the tears prick your eyes. You'd never been good with getting yelled at and you were trying your best not to cry.

When you saw Florence approaching you bit back the tears as you ran up and hugged him. Sure you didn't know him that well but you sure as hell weren't gonna hug Claude.

He wrapped his arms around you as you pressed your face in his hair. Which did hurt your back since he was so much shorter than you.
"What's wrong cupcake? Something happen?" You just whine in response, any words and he'd be able to tell you were gonna cry.

After a moment of silence he spoke up.
"Was it Claude?" You didn't want to say anything incase he did something crazy but you wanted something to happen to him deep down. Nothing bad of course but it would be nice if he got chewed out after all the times he's yanked you around or yelled at you. You just nod a little bit and keep your face pressed in his hair.

Florence hums and continues to comfort you. Maybe staying with him wouldn't be so bad. He was really nice to you and he wasn't bad looking. The height difference was the only off putting thing. You weren't the tallest guy ever but you were breaking your back trying to rest your chin on his head.

You sigh into his hair and calm down after about 5 minutes. And by that time Claude had caught up to you.

You could sense the tension in the air, you didn't have to look up to know that they were sharing dirty looks. What the hell went wrong?

Pure silence

That's all that could be heard for the next hour or so. You were sat on the fence petting one of the unicorns while Florence helped Claude get the fur.

Begrudgingly of course.

You couldn't stop thinking about what Claude said about having a plan. You knew he meant fairy tears and you knew you meant Florence's.

You just hoped they'd be happy tears. Like that would ever happen.

You were brought out of your thoughts by the sound of Florence's voice.
"Okay cupcake come on." He looked at you with a cheery smile and held out his hand.

It shocked you a bit at the change in demeanor but he's probably trying to make you feel better. You just shrug it off and take his hand. It's a bit cold, colder than Claude's but that's probably cause of his size.

He starts walking you somewhere, his house you guessed. But if you were going to his place why was Claude trailing behind?

You arrive at his house and he sits you on the couch before turning away and leading Claude out of the room.

What were they doing....? What were the gonna do? What is Claude gonna do?

You sat there anxiously fiddling with your fingers and trying to calm your nerves. Then Claude burst out of the room and walked towards you.

Like anyone else who saw a 7 foot ogre charging at them would do, you move away. But he doesn't care and hoists you up from the couch by your waist before turning you around and pinning your back against his chest.

Florence was staring at you terrified and was begging Claude to let you go....atleast you think he was. It was like the world went blank and all there was is white noise.

You were watching Florence as he cried and cried begging Claude to leave you alone and promising to give him the unicorn fur.

Claude finally let you go and bottled Florence's tears before taking the bag of unicorn fur and storming out of the cottage.

When he left you looked and Florence and spoke "What the hell just happened...?"
